French Village catered our wedding at the Empire Belfast. The food was incredible! How they produced such a high standard of food with the limited facilities at the venue is unbelievable. All of our friends and family are still raving about it. They also made our wedding cakes, we both love cake and at the stage when we met with FV we hadn't thought about center pieces so came up with the idea of cakes as center pieces which could then be served as part of the dessert. The cakes were delicious and was such a fun idea! The level of service and attention to detail was second to none. Thanks to all of the team for making our day so memorable!

My daughter's birthday cake for her 3rd birthday was absolutely stunning and tasted delicious. It was made to exact requirements and nothing was too much trouble for the team. Wonderful experience and will be ordering more again in the future.

Fantastic service and quality. Recently used for a wedding of 170 guests at a remote location. Front of house was very professional and kept everything running smoothly and on time. Two course lunch for 60 guests was absolutely delicious with many guests commenting on how good the beef was. Also provided a bowl food canopy-like service during the evening for all guests, which worked amazingly well. They even used recipes that we provided (as it was food that meant something to us), and did an unbelievable job. Would highly recommend.

Excellent from start to finish. French Village catered for our wedding in Finnebrogue Woods during a storm! Guests commented that the food was better than you'd get in a fancy restaurant. The service was so professional and Zsolt and his team couldn't be faulted. We had "Pea Veloute and Ham Hock Beignet with Mint Oil" for starters, "Slow cooked irish beef with caramelised onion potato, braised carrot and tenderstem broccoli" for the main course. For the evening reception, French Village prepared bowl food from recipes which we provided. They catered to all guests with allergies and intolerances. I highly recommend.

We had french village do the catering for our wedding and cannot reccomend them enough. Zsolt was extremely easy to work with - he was very organised and clear in emails which is invaluable when you are organising a wedding. We had sharing style food at the wedding - small plates to start and then rib on the bone which was carved at the tables for the mains. The food was amazing and several people said it was the best food they had had at a wedding. I won't reveal the details but they also suggested a surprise for when the food was served which provided lots of entertainment and really added to the relaxed feel of the meal. They also had black plates at no extra cost, which made all my pinterest dreams come true.

Had a great meal recently at a wedding in Larchfield. Great service, from ordering to delivery. Ordered a cake to serve around 50 people. The attention to detail when ordering the cake paid off with a cake made to order – including a figure 4” plus icing figure produced from a photo. Swift and easy payment. Final quality check performed when collecting the finished cake. Declivous cake, would recommend and certainly purchase again.

I asked French Village for a cake which they had never made before topped with macarons and donuts. It did not disappoint and was extremely popular with our guests at my wife's 30th party. Bought a carrot cake for my partner's birthday that was probably the best carrot cake we've had. Ordered online and found the site very user friendly. The cake was delivered to the home at a perfect time by a delightful driver. Very impressed with FVB. Will definitely be using them for all my cake and bun needs in the future.

Just had the most incredible culinary experience with French village catering for my wedding last Friday. Can not recommend them enough, Zsolt- the event coordinator was superb from start to finish and could not have done enough for us, he just took professionalism and hospitality up a notch and he needs recognition for his attention to detail- thank you Zsolt! I also want to thank the two chefs that put our menu together, Sean and Jamie , you really listened to what we wanted and knocked it out of the park! it was delicious! thanks! We will be recommending you anyone we know getting married or having an event.

My daughter sent me a box of bread etc last week,she lives in Wales and I'm in belfast.in the box was a .l oafwas very dissatisfied with the items I have mentioned.i was over the moon with my gift,I put it on Facebook.2 Belfast baps,a wheaten, loaf,lemon cake,2 packs of pancakes and 5 sausage rolls.i was really disappointed with the sausage.rolls just not nice pancakes were sstuck together.i have never had anything from your bakery before,and my gift was very disappointed. To me.thebap was soft.!!

Eating at French Village Bakery can be a mixed bag. I'm giving four stars as it's usually better than not, but removing one for a wonky breakfast. Evening food is well considered - good salads and Bang Bang Chicken is a favourite. Staff are uniformly pleasant and engaging. However, breakfast can be hit and miss. My £7 Avocado on Toast was a weird combination of very cold pre-prepared avocado mush (more like guacamole than avocado toast) with undercooked poached eggs (the whites were sloppy). For £7, I think it's not crazy to expect buttered toast with freshly sliced/crushed avocado, a staple elsewhere. Lesson learned, will pick a fry-up next time. Even good places need feedback to develop tastier outcomes!
