I ordered a cake from Sheena (BiteMeCakes) for my birthday and I was so so happy with the service. I submitted a request through the website and I got a response back within 24 hours. The options were explained to me very clearly with the different pricing available told to me. When I had to opt out of an extra design (some fondant lettering) because it was out of my price range, I wasn't made to feel like a cheapskate like some other bakers. All my dealings with Sheena were very friendly and polite. When I collected the cake I was given care instructions which were really helpful. Now onto the cake. I had a vegan and nut free biscoff cake and it was delicious! Very tasty. My mom doesn't like buttercream but she loved the buttercream on this one. Sheena advised that it would only last for 5 days but I didn't eat the last slice until over a week later and it was only just turning stale. Yes it may be a little more expensive than other bakers but you really do pay for quality! Hygiene and good quality are priceless. Very happy and will order again.

Where to start? Sheena is the sweetest person to interact with and was extremely accommodating with the collection process of the cake whilst being COVID safe. From the beginning of designing of the cake back in August the cake all the way through to the collection, Sheena would keep me updated and send ideas for tweaks based on other work that she had been doing. Sheena is lovely and kind as a person, she is really helpful with your order, and can make whatever you mind imagines. I ordered 6 cupcakes for my boyfriend’s 30th birthday and they were beyond what I expected! They were beautifully decorated and gorgeous to look at. The best part was definitely eating them though! I chose vanilla sponge with a lemon filling and they were to die for. The lemon flavour worked amazingly against the sponge and the sponge it’s self was lovely and fluffy and light! I have just placed a second order for a celebration cake for my Mother’s 60th birthday cake. I placed an order in August for my Dad’s 60th, the cake was superb I had to go back and order another. Sheena was so helpful with the design process and her cakes are so beautiful to look at, you don’t want to cut them. My birthday was approaching and I wanted to treat myself. I remember visiting the mailbox in Birmingham roughly about a year and a half ago with these different food stalls both downstairs and upstairs. I remember approaching the Bite Me Cakes! Stall and purchased one of the brownies-one of the most delicious things I have ever tasted. Very chocolatey, and moist. I had one of their contact cards so I made an order for delivery. I received great service, the brownies were delivered to me on time and above all they were delicious.

I have to say as a regular, the cakes and cupcakes look amazing and are sooo light, brownies are out of this world and everything is always consistent. Never found brownies that can beat BMC's.
