J. A.Lovely little bakery. Very friendly staff and the bread and sandwiches are delicious especially the pulled pork baps. If you like baked goods also very nice selection of tarts, ginger bread and other things! Never had a bad experience been going most days now since January 2022.

B.brilliant little place to eat. get the hot pork batch 2 or 3 times a week, as well a hot chocolate, always delicious and the staff are very friendly. highly reccomend if you are in the area and need a bite to eat

S. T.Today my hubby and I called in to this shop and bought a cherry pie, apple turnover and two custard tarts, all freshly made on the premises (the cakes were demolished this evening and were yummy, the pie we saved for tomorrow).
As it was such a lovely day we decided to stay for scones and tea served out in the sun, although we chose to place ourselves under the bright yellow sun shade! Each table had a pot of fresh flowers presented in decorated tea pots and looked so welcoming.
Our tea and scones were delicious and we spent a little time chatting to Sally the owner whose infectious and cheerful attitude certainly rubbed off onto her staff who were helpful and professional in their work.
Having purchased cakes and pies from Sally on previous occasions I am somewhat puzzled at the review suggesting they came from Greggs and not baked on the premises, this is nonsense and needs to be challenged!
Additionally, Sally bakes the most amazing celebration cakes, a couple of years ago I ordered a Derby County themed cake for my brother’s 80th birthday that was absolutely spectacular!
Therefore I can highly recommend you call in and support the Breadbasket....oh I forgot to mention the selection of breads, and the pies....go and see for yourself, well done Sally and staff you are doing a great job!
O. L.Bread basket made the most perfect customised cupcakes for my parent's wedding anniversary at quite short notice. They couldn't do enough for us and the cupcakes look fantastic and taste even better! Very reasonable in price, I would definitely go there again!

c. d.We have recently relocated our practice onto Bournville Green. Since we have opened the staff have used the bakery most days for lunch or to get something for tea at home. My family are certainly happy when mom comes home with cakes for pudding. The food is lovely, fresh and tasty. Staff are very friendly and always helpful you are served with a smile. :))

There is always a good range of home made cakes, I am particularly impressed with their vegan range, and fresh bread is always available. I would recommend this shop as it is well worth a visit if you are in the local area.

A.We ordered our gender reveal cake to make it bit more exciting for the family to know what we having ladies here were absolutely brilliant very helpful even though I was so unsure what to go for I was able to order on the phone and send husband down for rest of the information which they were fine and very understanding when I arrived on the day to collect the cake was over the moon to see what they have came up with and I was welcome with a big wram smile from everyone lady didn't leave my side until I was done and ready to go she even came out with me to help put our cake in the care they currently doing my daughters 10th birthday cake and I can't wait to see it totally trust them and would definitely recommend to anyone xxx am just glad I don't have to worry about cakes for my kids or any special occasion coming up they do exactly what u asked them to xxx
