Come for the Criffin, you won’t regret it. This splendid, eclectic bakery offers a large selection of baked goods. It’s a huge place with comfy seating and an oriental themed flavour to its surroundings. The staff are warm and chatty.
Do check out the pastries. Goodness gracious, they’re something else.

This lovely bakery is hidden away on Dale End, it's a gem! This was my second visit and I received another warm welcome by the member of staff. I had the tasty bacon, brie and onion chutney sandwich, I opted for the sourdough bread after having the ciabatta bread last time. The sandwiches are thick which I like and there was enough bacon and brie inside. I had a luke warm hot chocolate, that's why I gave 4 stars, but I assume this is how they make it. They have a great selection of pastries, I had the chocolate and hazelnut swirl to takeaway (it was delicious 😋 ate it as soon as I got home). I will definitely be back to try one of the breakfasts or the pizza. 👌

went to visit yesterday and got this cronut to take away, was sooo good, tasted v fresh and v sweet, not chewy at all! Crispy but fluffy and soft 🤤 they have so many pretty pastries and bakes on display!

I've been a huge fan of Orientee Bakery for years now. I enjoyed their café in Dale End and I'm so glad they've moved to a new location after being closed for a while. Their cronuts and doughnuts are so delicious 😍. I recently tried the chocolate, coconut and strawberry cronut which was so nice. Generally I just love their custard filled doughnuts. Order online if you can, you won't regret it!

Great little bakery with a massive choice of home baked goods. I had some raspberry bread pudding which was lovely. I have yet to try their cruffins. There bread selection looked great as well. The cafe also offers cooked dishes and the coffee was delicious. The staff was super friendly.

They make some of the tastiest pastries in Birmingham for very good value. Definitely recommend!

Best bread and pastries in town, I've tried a few bakeries in town and none have been up to the standard of Orientee. The reason for 4 stars is due to the roast dinners and pizza's, they're definitely not 'bad', but can be improved. The pizza itself was very tasty, it was just that the toppings all fell off leaving me to eat the toppings and base separately. Other than that, the price/quality ratio is great

Amazing sandwiches. We had the Brie and Bacon on both sourdough and ciabatta and both were excellent. Drinks are reasonably priced and good but the food and baked goods are where this place is unreal. Had a raspberry donut and lemon meringue cronut and it was so delicious. If you're umming and ahhing about coming in then just go for it! New favourite cafe in Birmingham!

I feel lucky to have stumbled across this hidden gem 5 days after it's opening. Orientee is a oriental fusion artisan bakery and cafe with emphasis on the artisan baked goods.
The bakery features an array of sourdough breads, croissanrs, flaky danishes, and homemade doughnuts that are made to perfection. It is rare to find a bakery that can keep layered pastries such as croissants and danishes made to such crisp delicately layered perfection
The interior is spacious, tastefully minimalistic, with a relaxed atmosphere.
The drinks feature an array of teas including chai and matcha lattes and espresso based coffee. The coffee was mild and probably a bit lackluster for the true caffeine fiend.
I didn't try the sandwiches and dishes available for lunch but the portions looked gargantuan so the value for money looks excellent.
I will definitely be returning to this little gem in the future

Love this bakery, fabulous bread, friendly staff. Have missed my treats since the shop in Dale end closed summer 2019. Can't wait to go to the new premises when it opens.

A real hidden gem of a bakery and coffee shop in the city centre! Lovely independent owners who make fantastic breads and pastries. All reasonably priced, too.
