C. M.The definition of true bliss are these biscuits! What feels like an authentic Japanese delicacy is a delicious treasure of flavours in yummy cookies! The flavours are quirky but subtle and sweet. Its the kind of treat you don’t gobble but enjoy every bite on a nice evening with a mug of hot chocolate. My partner and I enjoy sharing these yummy treats with the poppy seed and the kinako bean being our top recommend! Whenever we manage to see Sam at markets, he always serves with a smile. We love coming back to this cookies! Would 100% recommend! 🍪🇯🇵🍪

The chocolate chips and nuts were mixed in at the right amount to give the perfect "crunch" factor. They were also crushed well within the cookies so people will never choke on them!
I would definitely recommend buying SANCHA cookies. The value for money is also well-justified!

L.The cookies were excellent, and the customer service was just as good! Literally every query was sorted out for me, be it allergy requirements, or offering to send a complementary box when royal mail delayed the initial delivery. Even after the first box was received he still sent out an extra box which was not necessary but very kind 😊 Dispatch time was less than a day, the packaging is perfect for a gift, and none of this is to mention how nice the cookies themselves actually are. My favourites were the strawberry, and the matcha ones. Genuinely looking forward to ordering again :)

A. C.Sancha's twist on western desserts with a dash of Japanese magic is 100% my thing. I went for the selection box of cookies with all four flavours. Each one was absolutely scrumptious, equal parts comforting and familiar but with exciting flavours and textures. The sesame and matcha cookies were my favourites. Ordering and delivery was also easy-peasy and super prompt.

The cookies are my favourite - with an interesting variety of flavours to choose from, you'll find nothing quite like them locally! I ordered some to take to an office lunch and was well received. When I tried it the first time, it made me come back for more! :) love the flavours of each cookies, but my personal favourites are the Matcha and Black sesame, just the right sweetness and not overpowering and I always love my cookies to be soft and chewy which this is. So I ordered the variety box as a new customer trying them for the first time , I would be able to get a taste and general scope of the products available..also being indecisive, it meant I didn’t have to make a decision and got to try all the delicious flavours. And I’m so glad I did, as I thoroughly enjoyed them all.
As cookie connoisseur, like myself. Knows that what makes a good cookie and it’s foundation is really in how soft and chewy they are. As hard and crunchy ones don’t deserve that title and are really just big biscuits. These were soft , moist and chewy. So already off to a great start .
The matcha/white chocolate was a particular favourite of mine from the initial bite. And surprisingly as someone with a sweet tooth the sesame and Himalayan salt was also up there for me. Not that I didn’t think I would like it, I just presumed I would preferred the ‘sweeter’ flavours above this.. But it was so good! A perfect mix between sweet and savoury. I wouldn’t say it was sweet/salty as the salt is a very mild taste. And takes backseat to the star of the show which is the rich nutty flavour of the black sesame.
If you’re someone who likes cookies with a bit of ice cream (which why wouldn’t you as that’s a killer combo) I actually think the sesame ones would work SO well maybe even best with a bit of vanilla ice cream. But the good quality stuff, cuz honestly you’d be doing the cookie and yourself a disservice using cheaply flavoured ice haha.
The strawberry and milk chocolate ones were of course also lovely. I had never heard of kinako before , so that was also really great to be able to try that for the first time. And the slight ...buttery /roasted butterscotch flavour that it adds.
Would these make a good gift? Absolutely! But my mantra has always been. Whatever makes a good gift for someone else, makes an even better one for yourself. So I would totally encourage you to treat yourself and just get some because you want some nice cookies.
Looking forward to trying the other items available/future flavours.

R. M.I’m addicted! I tried Sancha out of curiosity and I was instantly HOOKED. I started with the variety cookie box (the sesame cookies are amazing) and I’m currently working my way through the menu. You HAVE TO try the cookieroons, they are out of this world. Soft, chewy, creamy and sweet. I love the Japanese inspired flavours too! Honestly - give it a try - you will not be disappointed!

I was excited when I heard about SANCHA and the matcha cookies as anything matcha was one of my favourite treats when living and travelling in Asia. As soon as I took a bite, I was in 💚. Samual listened to my story about my mother and let me show my excitement off my Japanese culture to him and why I wanted to buy his cookies to help bring some memories to my poorly mother back to her and our family. All the way through from the order to picking up I was kept in the loop and the end product was absolutely delicious.
