Bought several brownies and they are all DIVINE! Lots of great vegan options and several delicious gluten-free options too. Would definitely recommend, I know we will be back next time we are in Brighton. The young lady at the counter was very welcoming and kind even though we nipped in right before closing. 10/10!

Great service and wonderful vegan cakes! I sent an enquiry email and they came back to me very quickly and managed to make a lovely vegan birthday cake at very short notice. I have used them a few times now and they never disappoint. The 4” cake sounds small but it’s actually got 4 layers so it’s very tall and much bigger than I was expecting so was pleasantly surprised. The staff are lovely, answer any questions that you may have. The brownies are nice, gooey and just delicious 😍 the cake jars are so creative and just yummy. Would 100% recommend if you have a sweet tooth or just craving sugar.

Bought an AMAZING cookie-pie for my housemate’s birthday. So easy to order, and the baker on the phone was really lovely. So knowledgable about what they thought looked, and tasted, best together. Would 100% recommend ordering! When visiting the store, there are LOADS of options to choose from. Wide variety of Vegan and Vegan GF. Staff are sooo friendly and again know the products in and out, which is great as my housemates suffer from allergies; made me feel confident in the products I was gifting. Also STUNNING PACKAGING!!!❤️😍

I came from London and they were closed! Didn't check the opening times as I just presumed they were open. Came back on Thurs when they are open and they didn't disappoint. The vegan brownies are TOP KNOTCH. OMG. 4 stars for the closing 3 days of the week (unusual in ldn but prob usual here?) And the fact that the cupcakes are filled. They don't tell you this. I asked if the vegan one was filled but didn't ask about the other which my son had and he detests jam so I had to scoop a fair bit of cake out for him to eat it. Cupcakes are quite oily, buttercream is a bit much and very sweet and I've had better, however the fact that we can pop into a regular shop now and buy cupcakes and brownies is just exciting. Worth a visit but check opening times. P.s the smell emitting from this bakery to the high road is the best thing ever Thanks for making me happy!

Wow - the Cakes in the jar are absolutely amazing! But beware, everything is very sweet! We had two different Cakes, both tasted great! Today we took a Cupcake all our way back to germany - and it still tasted SO delicious. Don't thing I've ever tasted a Cupcake that good. You didn't taste a lil bit that it was vegan. Really great! If you are in Brighton, you MUST stop here and grab something! :) but beware - there are no tables

Popped in again today it's nice to see them open on a Sunday! Very nice full flavoured coffee and Oatly Barista! 20p for Oatly not 50p or 60p like some! Take away Coffee and Cup cakes, or In glass jars! 3 cupcakes in one jar, or 8, bring back 2 jars get a free cup cake! Gluten free and Vegan options. No seating area but you can sit by the window if you need to This place made me do a cartoon skid where my eyes stayed glued to the window!, devilishly divine creations reside within. No Palm oil all hand made, vegan and gluten free options, if you last longer than 30 seconds before buckling your a better man/women than me. WOW!! I am COMPLETELY obsessed! Everything smells, looks and tastes AMAZING! The staff are so friendly and lovely, the cakes are the freshest I’ve ever tasted and omg the Cookies are to die for!! Everything is baked fresh so you can often smell the delicious sweet baking smells from the street! Keep up the good work, you are without doubt the best cake shop in Sussex!!!

Not only the best place in Brighton for sweet treats (the cake jars are a firm favourite) but absolutely amazing for celebration cakes! Cielo made our wedding cake - a beautiful, single tier chocolate Guinness cake with cream cheese frosting. It tasted amazing, looked stunning and an absolute hit with the guests. The team were so responsive and always happy to answer questions, delivery to the venue was spot on and the care and work put into the cake was really visible. Would absolutely recommend!

Best bakery in Brighton and beyond! Can't recommend enough. Amy managed to make the most beautiful birthday cake we'd ever seen at record speed - just a week! Amy was very helpful, professional, responsive and friendly. We honestly couldn't have asked for more. If you want a high impact cake don't hesitate to use Cielo Cakery!

Popped in here for one small cupcake, as a treat for my kid. Came back with a cupcake the size of half her face, a brownie slab that could be used as a decent, if gooey, pavement slab, AND a cake in jar. Cake in a jar is low key genius, because it is essentially handbag cake, and who doesn't need handbag / backpack / portable cake in their lives? This little selection cost me under a tenner, and for quality cake in Brighton, that's actually very, very reasonable. The thing is, it gets better, because not only is there a massive selection of vegan goodness, there's also plenty of gluten free cake too. The absolute best thing though? Oh my flipping Nora, it all tastes amazing. My kids salted caramel cup cake was a decent firm and moist sponge, with a generous salted caramel filling and substantial but not too much caramel icing. Too much icing can ruin a cup cake, but this was spot on. My vegan cookie dough brownie was brilliant. I was expecting the cookie dough to have a similar texture to the brownie, and therefore be too gooey. However it was a magic combo of crumbling vegan butteriness (a skill in its self) that was well spattered out in the squidgy brownie. The cake in a jar though. Damn, that's the absolute, want to swear on the interwebs, freaking BEST. I had vegan cherry bakewell, and there was massive lumps of cherry, soft almond sponge and creamy icing all perfectly layered. You need a long spoon and a large stomach for this bad boy. All entirely worth it. Edit : I just found out that if you return enough empty and clean jar cake jars, you get a free cupcake. That's the acest recycling motivation ever.

Honestly, undeniably the best cake shop I have ever visited. Their cake creations are so unique and come in such an amazing array of flavours to suit everyone including vegans and celiacs! The staff are a small team of friendly girls who never fail to assist you with genuine care and great intentions. If you're ever in Brighton its a must visit! Grab a cake jar and head to the beach! I've heard they are now doing a postal service, which is something I will be exploring in the coming days!

The Cielo Cakery made our wedding cake and it was amazing! It looked fantastic and it tasted so! They listened to what we wanted and delivered it spot on. Communication was great, very containing and reassuring. I would highly recommend this business to anyone. Thank you

This place is amazing! I have been a customer for some time and have always been super impressed. They keep thinking up new and inventive cakes and treats all the time. The cake jars are delicious. The cookie sandwiches are out of this world! The treat boxes always offer a fantastic selection. In my opinion, for the price that someone would pay for a pint or glass of wine in a pub these treats are great value. Check it out.

Busiest time of the year at Cielo Cakery Valentine's 2021 and the team worked long hours to fill up the shop with amazing cakes and other sweeties. Got a chocolate heart smash and couple of Victoria cakes in a jar. We loved everything!! Really high quality and the girls at the shop are so lovely and polite. This cakery ALWAYS has lots of vegan options. Although I don’t class myself as vegan, I try to go vegan where I can and OH MY! You would never know that they weren’t vegan. So delicious! On occasion when they have sold out of the vegan options, normal non-vegan is incredible too! I’ve been getting cake jars from them for ages and I’m never disappointed. Last time I went I got a cookie pie slice which was incredible (I couldn’t finish it in one go) but it was so yummy!!! 10/10 would recommend

Absolutely incredible cakery. There's nowhere else like it in Brighton. There's always new inventive and delicious combinations of chocolate and confectionery in their cookies and brownies every week and I love trying all the different ones. My absolute favourite however has got to be biscoff rocky Road. This cakery has truly got me through 2020/2021. I'm just sad I moved house and now I'm out of their uber eats radius. Thank god for their bi-weekly local drop off service! An absolute must if you're in Brighton and love all things cake.

Been a customer of Cielo for a while and always enjoyed your produce. In summer 2020 I got in touch regarding a Christmas order, and was met with great excitement, which was lovely! Arrangements were swiftly made, and when I went to collect, everything was ready and beautifully packaged. There was a technical hiccup with me receiving the receipt, which was corrected incredibly quickly. We queued for an hour on the reopening in February and I do not regret it. The cakes are all amazing in taste and variety. They are sure not healthy but what a treat and they are worth the additional lockdown weight gain!

Really good vegan cupcakes 💗 But if you want to order basic small bday cake, you will have to pay ... £50! Which is a laugh... The cupcakes not only have amazing cream on top but also the filling inside! I do recommend victoria one. It is like a miniature cake. I just walked in to the shop , it is very small but inside is awesome ambience, not many ppl can stand inside. Nice idea from owner where they put the cakes in the glass jar, easy to put in the fridge and taste it just like ice cream. It is just Mouth watering inside the shop :)

A very small Cakery located on Church St, would walk pass it without noticing during the daytime when it’s closed. Closes on Mondays & Tuesdays, and opens very short hours for rest of the week. Staff are friendly and helpful 100% in this department. Placed an order for collection via email and transferred funds. On collection day, noticed the shop was closed....no details on how to collect. Had to email them, with a quick reply had to return to shop and knock on the door, although telephone number was given and inform to call to communicate.
