Really fantastic catering for our housewarming party - so many people commented on the deliciousness of the food. Mini baguettes, quiche, frittata, brioche buns, sausage rolls and little patisserie cakes, all great and looked so fresh, …

Really good local backers got all you need for the whole day

If you like to taste real patisserie this is the place. Do not look any further. Real bread, tarts and cakes you are going to love. Perfect for vegan and vegetarian.

The most amazing pastries and great service. Always happier to pay a little more for a family run business especially one this good

Could not speak more highly of Open Bakery. I have business in Brighton only 2-3 times a year. I come here for breakfast every time. Each morning I stand outside at 0655 waiting for the doors to open at 7. Longest 5 minutes of my life! 😁
I disagree with others that OB is expensive. If you eat here you will see why it is at the top of the game versus other locations in quality and flavour. A coffee, croque, and pain au chocolat for under £7. You pay for quality, however by my estimates I got a bargain!
Great breakfast nosh (the bacon, brie, and maple syrup croque is insane delicious, photo attached). The bakery pushes out consistently wonderful breads. The deserts look so good you dont know whether to eat them or keep on display. They hold Sunday bread making classes and even do wedding cakes. The customer service is kind, efficient, and warm. Talk to them! They are quite nice people. ( Tell the Irish lady behind the counter to stop worrying about her hair, she looks absolutely lovely. 😉 )

Top notch bakery. I stopped in for a pastry while visiting Kemp Town and was so impressed I ended up going back for both breakfast and an afternoon snack every day for the rest of my stay! The pastries were huge, light and buttery, and not overly sweet and the cakes really excellent too. Thanks

I'm a local resident and loyal customer. Amazing bread and patisserie. However, I'd really like to know your justification for charging 7.95 for a pack of red roaster coffee? The same product is 4.95 in a shop 100 yards down the road. The RRP listed by the wholesaler is 4.94. Why the exorbitant 3 quid mark up? Is each pack hand delivered on a golden platter of unicorn tears? C'mon, get real!!
