So impressed! I'm currently dairy free. I ordered an oat milk cappachino and a vegan pain au chocolate with coconut. The coffee was delicious, but the pastry wow I was so impressed. It was delicious, I want one everyday if my waistband allowed it.

Food and coffee is lovely, if a bit steep. I don't relate to the friendly staff comments, I'm on the verge on not going back purely because I smile at them every time I go and getting a smile back is a real effort. Friendlier cafes nearby

Lovely little shop. The manager popped round the shop I used to work at for spare coins when they ran out of change, on a couple of occasions. He was always a pleasure. I decided to go in there the other day on my quest to find uncut sourdough loafs and they had exactly what I needed. Staff were friendly, purchasing was simple.

Grabbed a loaf of bread on the way back from a run, and ate some for breakfast. It's fantastic! Moist, weighty (in the way that real bread is springy and nutritious - it has risen evenly), tasty, everything nice. Also a croissant - again, ttey really know their baking. It looks good as a café too, although I haven't tried it. Very convenient, very authentic, very nutritious

The coffee and food here are all great, but can be incredibly busy here as a result. There isn't much space inside so if the weather's bad you won't make much use of the outside seating.

Not sure which of the two 'Flour Pot Bakeries' is the original, but after visiting both, I'd happily recommend either. I only stopped in at this branch to quickly pick up a couple of loaves before leaving Brighton, so this review is primarily about the other branch (but it's equally applicable). A great little artisanal bakery and coffee shop. The wares vary daily, so if you're after anything in particular you might want to check the baking schedule. The donuts (Fri) looked so good, I had to try them all (Strawberry, Blueberry, Yuzu Curd and Honeycomb). My taste buds enjoyed them all, but my stomach didn't! The scones (Fri, Sat & Sun) looked a bit small to tempt me (but I had just bought 4 donuts). All the loaves looked amazing, but after tasting the 'Rustic Loaf' (a white, wholemeal and rye mix) I had to make another visit and buy a second loaf. I wish I'd discovered this place earlier during my visit to Brighton.

Lovely bakery in Brighton. There are a few of these and the one I visit has a fantastic selection of breads and pastries. The vegetarian flat bread is sooooo good as is the banana pancakes au chocolat. Coffee is also great and staff are very helpful and friendly. They also take AMEX!
