Good environment and friendly staff. Despite of a serving error (gave us a ice latte instead of an oat latte), staff quickly resolved the issue. Food is not exceptional but is definitely above average. Coffees can be a bit stronger (though this is a bit subjective).

Fantastic selection of pastries, the vegan breakfast pot thingymajig is stupendous, their Jalapeño sausage rolls will put any hangover to bed, the sandwiches are all divine and the staff… good grief. Who else would serenade you on entry with Alanis Morissette classics?! Pop down there today and have yourself a lovely time.

Great little cafe on the corner of a bustling street. Ice vanilla latte was standard, refreshing on a hot summer day. Cinnamon bun was unlike most, crunchy on the outside with an almost croissant like texture.

We love this place! The friendliest team around their manager is incredible! Cannot do enough for you and your always greeted with a smile whether it’s 9am or 5:55 before closing it’s never too much trouble! Went in here cos it looked cute. Lovely cafe. Staff were very nice. Had an oat milk latte, which was the best coffee I've ever had. Apparently it's their own brand. Also had lovely soup, faux beef sandwich and Soup of The Day - tomatoes, pepper and fennel, vegan and delicious. This place is a gem.

The contents was more than enough to share between five of us and we had fizz in the park, then carried on with our own teas 🍵back at home. We needed another break from eating and then came back for more. My favourite were the sauceage rolls, the coronation chicken sandwiches and the lemon tarts.

Such a great bakery place! Coffee was good but the bread and pastries are amazing! As a huge fan of carrot cake, this was by far the best carrot cake I've had in the UK. So moist and filled with lots of ingredients with a good cake to cream cheese icing ratio. I cannot recommend it more!

We stayed for 2 nights and on both mornings we were there we headed here first thing, on recommendation from a friend. This little bakery is the perfect mix of rustic and modern, with beautiful, clean decor and a whole lot of character. We popped in for breakfast and opted for delicious looking (and equally well-tasting) breakfast rolls, and a cup of tea. There was a pretty good selection of breakfast options and drinks, and, as we were leaving, they received a delivery of the most fantastic looking sweet treats, too - definitely worth another visit later in the day!

There are many coffee shops in Brighton and they are probably all good, but why go there while The Flour Pot provides you with excellent coffee with superior service. Really nice little bakery. It’s small inside and you can’t always get a seat but it’s well decorated with lots of visible copper pipes some of which is decorative but some of which seems to be actual plumbing. In spite of it being a bakery, I’ve only eaten a few baked goods here but they were all really tasty. The hot chocolate is my go to drink; it has a much richer, less sweet flavour than most places but I really like it.

The coffee at Flour Pot is some of the best in Brighton and their sandwiches are always tasty if not a little overpriced. The Sydney Street cafe is a cosy place, the staff are friendly and the service is quick.

A great little artisanal bakery and coffee shop. The wares vary daily, so if you're after anything in particular you might want to check the baking schedule. The donuts (Fri) looked so good, I had to try them all (Strawberry, Blueberry, Yuzu Curd and Honeycomb). My taste buds enjoyed them all, but my stomach didn't! The scones (Fri, Sat & Sun) looked a bit small to tempt me (but I had just bought 4 donuts). All the loaves looked amazing, but after tasting the 'Rustic Loaf' (a white, wholemeal and rye mix) I had to make another visit and buy a second loaf. I wish I'd discovered this (or its sister bakery) earlier during my visit to Brighton. Not sure which of the two 'Flour Pot Bakeries' is the original, but after visiting both, I'd happily recommend either.

When you walk in you are greeted by an array of delicious looking breads, sandwiches and cakes. I went for a flat white with a mushroom and chorizo flatbread. It was a dream! The flat white was made to perfection and the flatbread filled the lunch-sized hole in my belly. I ended up staying for quite a while as I had to get some work done - This meant I just HAD to try a slice of the polenta, lemon and pistachio cake that was winking at me. Don't judge me, I am a flirt when it comes to food! Overall I'm delighted with Flourpot. Great staff, great coffee, great bread and cakes! What more could you want? *Conveniently there is free WiFi, just ask for the password at the counter.

Kinda overhyped, which I’m sad to say :( The Matcha Latte was pretty terrible (very weak matcha taste), and the Carrot Cake I had was waaaaay too sweet - the frosting literally tasted like I was crunching down on sugar! Which is a pity since the cake itself was excellent, but frosting is 50% of what makes a good carrot cake for me, so this was a disappointment.
