Ordered our wedding cake from Anna's - a beautiful, 3 tiered pistachio sponge, rose buttercream and raspberry jam. The team designed a semi-naked finish which was decorated with fresh burnt orange roses and foliage. Anna's team were a delight to work with, great communication prior to the wedding on style, finish and timings for delivery. They delivered the cake direct to our wedding venue in the Cotswolds. This cake is absolutely delicious, and we had so many happy comments from friends and family. It's been our favourite for years and we are so happy we went for something different to a traditional lemon or vanilla sponge (although anything Anna makes is yum!). Delicious enough to serve as a dessert on it's own so everyone could appreciate it, and went well with gelato! Thank you guys for a lovely wedding cake, it was pretty much all gone!

My first time trying their cakes and instantly fell in love with the chocolate cupcake and carrot cake! Taking the first bite of the cupcake, I could taste the richness of the chocolate both on the cake and on the icing. The carrot cake was moist, loved the texture, all the different flavours combined gracefully: the carrot, the sultanas, and I guess some candied orange peels(?). Cake presentation was pretty, the shop was also pretty, with a very pleasant lady behind the counter❤️

I've visited ANNA Cake Couture on a number of occasions and I've always enjoyed their cupcakes. For Valentine's Day I pre-ordered a box of biscuits from their Valentine's Day range. Absolutely fantastic customer service here! I ordered a birthday cake well in advance, but ended up having to self isolate and wasn't able to come to the shop to collect it - very kindly one of the staff offered to drive the cake over and do a no-contact drop off so that I would still be able to have this gorgeous cake in time for my partner's birthday. Enormous appreciation for the help, really top tier service! And the cake is of course excellent... I first discovered this place through Too Good To Go, picking up a discounted bag of cookies, and it's such a beautiful shop with such lovely baked goods that I had to come back for a full sized cake, really glad I did!

Simply delicious and definitely the best cake in town. I tried their oreo cupcake - there’s just nothing I can fault. Very moist, delicious and just the right level of sweetness. Cute little shop in Clifton village. Cupcake nutella was a little bitter and didn't taste like nutella. More like bitter chocolate with hazelnuts. The salted caramel cookie was very good and chewy. Coffee was good. Probably I had higher expectations with these reviews. But I will definitely give it another try.

I love cakes and i consider myself gourmand. I visited this place twice and i am now even more convinced that cakes only look beautiful but they are not tasty at all. Macaroons are lovely. Cakes are heavy and flavours are not balanced. Overall i would say its an instagrammable place but not yummie unfortunately..

We were there this morning on my husband's birthday. Very cozy place. You can drink delicious coffee and in the same time watch how they prepare the next desserts in the open kitchen. We chose espresso cake and rose, raspberry and pistachio cake and few macaroons for take away. All very tasty. Also they offer baking lessons. Highly recommend

Me and my mum came here yesterday to celebrate what would have been my brothers 26th birthday. This place is stunning the service was so sweet (wink wink) and the fact that you are able to see through to the open kitchen is also so fun and the smellsssss are to die for. The options are many and portions although they look dainty are more than enough. I can’t tell you enough how lush the cakes are every one is delicate and delicious with great flavours and decorated with such precision and love. I will be back. They also advertise classes which I may take a gander at. Highly recommend this place especially if you have a sweet tooth.

I live that we can see the cake from outside and having only one person in the shop was good as well. ANNA’s compact front hides a spacious cafe behind it where we indulged in their popular cubicakes! The single cost reduces as you purchase more cakes. Three of us chose two per person working out to £2.60 each cake. Not bad value given it is Clifton. My choices were the vanilla and a lemon meringue one. I love lemon drizzle and theirs reminded me of it; a delicate sponge sandwiching smooth buttercream. I’m not usually keen on the hard meringues but this one was only lightly toasted more akin to mallow. I wish I could get a large of this! The vanilla wasn’t as memorable. I’m not keen on the rose, pistachio & raspberry. Rose overpowered the whole cake. I personally believe mine were the best options. ANNA is an artisan cake shop - they offer baking classes too (a tad pricey for me). If you want to treat that dessert lover in your life, I recommend here. They also have macarons. Accommodating staff and lovely decoration.

Incredible cake and macaroons with great coffee and a lovely space to relax inside or outside in the sun. The concept of their cake cubes is brilliant because you will want to, and you should, try them all. Their macaroons are better than the likes of Laduree, full of flavour and fresh. The entire offer is excellent value for money and a really sociable way to eat cake! If you're looking for a celebration cake or cake courses, look here first.

On a recent visit to Clifton Village whilst visiting family, I thought I’d treat us all to a lovely cake. One Coconut and Raspberry Cake and six Oreo cupcakes later. What can I say, apart from I have never tasted a cake quite like it. It was the most beautiful cake I have ever had the pleasure of eating. I will definitely make this a must on all future visits.

The macarons here are very dry and overly sweet and the cakes not particularly flavourful and stodgy. Neither tasted fresh. Surprised at the good reviews but then most seem to comment on the appearance of the cakes and the customer service which can’t be faulted.

Anna very kindly made our wedding cake - it was absolutely amazing and we couldn't have asked for a better one. I've been a fan of Anna Cake Couture since my now husband took me there on my birthday (also the day I proposed, so I guess it was somewhat fated!). The cakes and macarons, especially, are superb. So beautifully presented and they are some of the most delicious creations I've ever had. It's not just style over substance like some places - they actually taste so good! The knowledge of the staff is great, too. When you ask for a tea, they give you a little timer, which is specific to whatever tea you're having, and you have a tiny little plate with which to place the tea leaves basket from the tea pot on. It just feels a very special treat to visit. I also really like that they use locally sourced coffee and tea (Extract Coffee is the best in Bristol, if you ask me...). Definitely worth a special trip to Clifton Village!

We tried a selection of things here, and to be honest for the price, we probably had higher expectations. The cake slices are really tasty and moist but very small. Cupcakes were also nice (had oreo and white choc with raspberry), however they didnt really stand out. Cookie was pretty average and the macaron was okay too. If I went again I'd just get the cake.

I bought a selection of macarons from Anna to try whilst looking at possible vendors for my wedding. It goes without saying that her macrons were hands down the best, and we decided to ask her if she would make an 8 tier tower for the big day. We meet Anna and she was great at helping my wife and I choose flavours and colours for the big day. Her team arrived early to setup the macron tower up, which looked amazing. The best complement to her craft is that there weren’t any macarons left by the end of the wedding day, much to my disappointment. Would 100% recommend for any sort of sweet needs you might have!

I thoroughly recommend the Wedding Cake Masterclass. The two days were absolutely brilliant. Anna is a fantastic teacher, and teaches in such a way that you completely understand the process, and takes time to make sure you understand fully before moving on to the next process. Anna is extremely knowledgeable and is happy to impart her knowledge about baking and sugarcraft. I thoroughly enjoyed the two days and felt that it was definitely money worth spent. I feel confident I have the knowledge to create my own wedding cake creations. I have attended her rose class which was also brilliant. I was desperately looking for an elegant and delicious cake for my wedding (An asian Walimah function) and I had whittled this down to 3 people, Anna being one of them. Given the high quality of Anna's work I had seen online, I was sure that she would be the most over-budget, but thought I would go and see her anyway. Anna was incredibly helpful, the initial meeting and cake testing was a lovely experience and she is just an incredibly lovely person with a clear passion for what she does. She was able to tweak the design of a cake I liked enough to work with my budget, which was amazing! The cake arrived on the day with no problems, looked fantastic (and became the centre piece of the hall) and most importantly, tasted AMAZING. Everyone commented on how elegant the cake looked and how delicious it was. I would highly recommend Anna for any and all your cake needs. Walked past Anna Cakes and suddenly stopped on my tracks and walked back when I saw the wedding cakes they had on display. They looked so pretty that it got me interested. I looked through the window and saw the array of cakes and macarons on their counter...2 of my favourite things. So walked in and just had a nosy and saw their offer of try 3, 5 or 10 different mini cube cakes to share although I forgot how much they were but its a little more than youd pay for your average cake but their cakes are not average at all! The cakes were delicious, the array of flavours makes it so hard to choose as youd just want them all! The precision and detail to them are just a pastry chefs eye candy. One other cool thing I noticed at Anna's besides their amazing cakes is that they give you a timer clock for when you order certain teas and it lets you know how long to let your loose leaf brew for. When the timer goes off, you just take out your strainer and voila! Perfect brewed tea! They just go the extra mile. Definitely recommend if youre passing by Clifton Village or just go there anyway just to try their cakes.

A bit pricey but yummy cube cakes ... good variety so you will find one you love. Macaroons are nice looking (although not my fav). Little cosy place - cool decor as well.
