Reviews of Farro Bakery

Whilst I wasn't brought to tears like some of the other reviewers, I definitely do see why it has such high reviews! Fantastic pastries served by wonderful staff in a unique setting. I had a Double Baked Almond croissant, and the server did explain the significance of the double bake but the words were lost to me as my teeth sunk into the most wondrously textured croissant, and I was briefly transported to another plane of existence.
It is in an odd location but don't let that stop you going! Mostly good for takeaway, not much space to sit in but it serves the work crowd very well

With the reputation of the best nata’s in Bristol I had high hopes for these tarts and Farro did not disappoint. They’re delicious and instantly made me regret just getting one. I was just outside the store when I had it and decided to line up to get some more. When I got to the front of the line there was only one left & it was only 10am (I think that says a lot in itself). Definitely a must try if you love Portuguese Egg tarts

This place is amazing. The best pastel del nata ever! The pastry on it is so light, flakey and delish! I also had a wonderful kouign aman here, and the Bramely apple filled one was amazing!! However on the last 3 occasions, the puff pastry for both of those was TOO SALTY! The baker had changed and whoever is making it, is doing it differently. Please bring back the other person! I still like this bakery and give it 5 stars for the quality of the food. I tried a few other items, but my standout is that pastel del nata. 😄

Top bakery! Best almond croissant in Bristol. Love their house sourdough loaf too. They still do a pop up at the Whiteladies farmers market on a Saturday and have now started soft serve in the bakery.

Choux Cream very delicious that I've ever eaten before. It's price like my country's restaurant where made delicious bread like Farro.
First time I couldn't buy because I have only cash and staff is very polite to answer me. Next day I went again and I can complete my task by credit card.
Total about 8.8 pounds for 4 pieces. I think if it delicious it worth to eat.
I'd like to buy again but I have to control my body weight however I plan to buy once a week and exercise more.

Each time I have tried to visit its been too late in the day but today I made it and it was worth it.....the rhubarb pastry was absolutely delicious and my daughter said the pain aux chocolate was THE BEST she has tried 😋 I cannot wait to eat the rest later 😉

We had a perfect Honey Almond croissant. It seemed.to be twice baked and so had a delicious crunch as well as fantastic flavour.
The service was super friendly. Owner/manager Bradley even gave us a mini tour/explanation of their mill and sifter. They buy heritage grown grains which they then mill into flour on site. Incredible stuff.
If you get a chance to eat anything from here then do! I'm hoping to be back tomorrow (and I live 2 hours away).

A hidden gem. If you're around Broadmead head up for a warm welcome and some spectacular pastries. The Babka is sublime..

The delicious pastries here are next level! Tried the pain au chocolat and croissant and they were both exceptional, I'd highly recommend making a visit.

Easily the best bakery I have ever been too. Spiced cinnamon bun is to die for. So is the tart. Learnt from experience that even on Saturday mornings you have to be there before 10:00 if you wanted a decent chance to get what you want. They do sell like hotcakes! :P
