I ordered a Winnie the Pooh cake for my daughters first birthday party. Louise has been great, very interactive and her enthusiasm for making the cake definitely came through during our discussions! The cake itself was outstanding, everyone LOVED the cake! it was the centrepiece of the party, and it tasted, well, it's the nicest cake I think I've ever had (and my scales tell me I've had a few). Thanks Louise for making the party special, I'll definitely come back to you for the next one :-)

Louise made our wedding cake, it was the most beautiful cake I have ever seen, and eaten! Totally above and beyond all my expectations. I was expecting to be eating cake for days after.. however it was so popular with all our guests there was none left over! The flavours were all delicious, we had an additional vegan cake too which was fantastic! Louise was a joy to work with, I loved talking to her about the design and the process! She is so talented and a lovely person, her dedication and skill are clear to see, a true artist. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend her and would love to work with her again.

Duke of Cakes did our wedding cake and it looked just perfect - exactly how we wanted it to be. Louise baked our two tier cake with one tier of Lemon and Elderflower and the other of Prosecco and Raspberry. Both tiers tasted great and every last crumb was eaten.

Just wanted to say a massive "Thank you" to Louise for my partner's cake. The main cake was just simply amazing, level of detail on point from the texture matching that of the real camera to the dials and buttons. All our guests commented that they thought it was a real camera and were horrified when a knife was put up against it. The camera was sat on what looked like a grey cloth which also was made from icing – this finished the cake very beautifully. I chose a chocolate sponge with chocolate buttercream filling which was divine, the sponge was perfectly moist and so delicious. Louise made 6 cupcakes which consisted of Vanilla sponge with Raspberry Jam and Buttercream Filling and WOW the miniature cameras sat on top of the cupcakes were out of this world. The cupcakes complimented the main cake and were perfect for the children. I cannot thank Louise enough for the effort and time spent in achieving the cake and would highly recommend The Duke of Cakes. Thank you again, Leon

The cake that Louise did for our daughter's first birthday was beyond everyone expectations. I showed Louise a picture of what sort of cake I would like and she truly amazed us all with her talent. And regarding the taste, I can say it was the best cake I ever had!

Louise make our wedding cake at very short notice, brought it to the venue, and decorated it with flowers from our wedding florist. The cake was as delicious as it was beautiful, and much less expensive than I was expecting. She was very friendly and easy to deal with, and altered it to suit guests' dietary intolerances, though you wouldn't have known from the taste. Would definitely use Duke of Cakes again.

Would recommend to everyone I know. Lou created an incredible Wedding Cake for us, it was so nice to sit back and trust her to do such a great job, we are so grateful for her travelling to set it up on the day . It tasted as good as it looked and we had lots of compliments. Lou also provided amazing cupcakes for my hen do which were the highlight of the weekend. Thank you so much!! Louise made our stunning naked wedding cake, bottom layer lemon, middle chocolate and top carrot cake decorated with fruits and delicate flowers. The cake was delicious, moist and full of flavour. It all got eaten and all the guests commented on how lovely it was... so the proof is in the pudding! Our nutfree and glutenfree guests had special cupcakes too. Louise made sure she delivered exactly what we wanted and nothing was too much trouble. It surpassed out expectations even though we knew it would be lush after tasting the options. Louise made a stunning Christmas Tree cake along with gold edible baubles and presents for my wedding cake. Two flavours, lemon drizzle and red velvet. Oh my gosh....
