Her cakes are beautiful and taste amazing! Truly the best gluten free and egg free cakes we've ever tasted! Ali was so helpful when choosing the order and also delivered the cakes to our door and was so friendly.
I highly recommend The Local Bakehouse.
R. W.We ordered a three-tier cake for a Silver Wedding celebration. The cake was beautiful and just what we envisioned. There were lots of comments from our guests about how lovely it looked and how delicious it was. The carrot cake layer, in particular, was a hit. We had excellent service and would highly recommend.
A. M.The Local Bakehouse made our micro-wedding cupcakes and we wouldn't have been more thrilled with them. Ali was sensitive to my needs (and worries!) as someone with multiple dietary requirements and the whole process couldn't have been more reassuring and, most importantly, delicious! The Local Bakehouse offers so many different flavours which we sampled in our tasting box which, as I hadn't eaten cake in over five years, was a real treat and gave me huge confidence in being able to tolerate and enjoy our wedding cakes. We chose the chai flavour alongside marbled cupcakes which were a real hit at our winter wedding. Everyone was surprised to see me eating cake as no one could have guessed from the taste they were dairy, egg, gluten and FODMAP free! Ali was really friendly and flexible throughout the process of planning a wedding during covid and made things extra easy for us by delivering and setting up the cake table at our venue. I can't thank her enough for making our wedding extra special with cakes everyone could share and enjoy. I really recommend The Local Bakehouse to anyone for truly inclusive and delicious bakes and particularly to those with dietary requirements needing to feel confident in enjoying a special cake.

E. J.Ali made the most perfect and beautiful cake for our wedding. We decided on 2 layers that were gluten and dairy free (carrot and chocolate) and 1 layer that was vegan and gluten free (lemon). They all tasted delicious and so many of our guests complimented us on the cake. Thank you so much Ali x
N. C.Ali made us the most incredible gluten free wedding cake! It was beautiful and completed the look of our day. The taste was just phenomenal! We went for three flavours and had comments from literally all of our guests about how incredible the sponges tasted. We expected to have more left over to enjoy over the next few days but it was just too good for people to resist! M. K.Ali made the most delicious and stunning cake for my husband's birthday celebrations. She was so easy to order online from and delivered the cake to my door exactly when she said she would. She even went the extra mile making one member of our group his own little vegan cupcake. I will definitely order again from Ali.

Everyone commented on how good it was. Ali was very accommodating and such a lovely lady. My husband collected the cake and he said how lovely Ali was.
