What an absolutely amazing and beautiful patisserie. This Portuguese bakery in the heart of Cardiff is an absolute gem. What a treasure hidden away one street off of albany road. Fresh Portuguese bakery with everything you could imagine from pastries to croissants to bread to specialist Portuguese food. Definitely well worth a visit. Highly recommended. The coffee is awesome as well.

Fantastic. A new independent patisserie & coffee spot in the heart of Roath, Cardiff. Just off Albany road is Bruno’s place. The bakers are in full view whilst a lovely lady makes sure you’re looked after. If your lucky enough to sit - please do so whilst you enjoy a great hot cup coffee ( recommend cappuccino here) and a delicious sweet pastry . Savoury bakes & breads are Devine too .

Lovely small café in Albany area with great pastries and cakes. I loved the cosy interior and how fresh the food was (reasonably priced as well). Wherever I go the cakes are just too sweet for my taste, but I've found that here the sweetness is very subtle. You can definitely tell that they've put a lot of passion and love into what they're doing. Very friendly staff, will be definitely coming back!

Found this amazing bakery quite by accident. The Portuguese cakes and patisserie are something to behold but couldn’t resist trying a corned beef pastie seeing as they are something of a Welsh delicacy and a personal favourite of mine. I have to say it is the best corned beef pastie I’ve ever eaten and I’ve had quite a few in my time, the pastry was awesome and the filling sublime, even better than my homemade. Oh the shame!

This place has the best coffee I’ve tasted in Cardiff! Just off Albany road and a short walk from the park it is definitely worth a stop. The selection of cakes is excellent and the staff are so friendly and welcoming :)

Wow. Cakes here are ace, a hidden Roath gem. I bought a couple of creme-pats and the owner threw in a Nata for free when I told him I'd never tried them - and I can see why, they're absolutely gorgeous, will definitely be back for more (update - I did return for more Natas - see picture!). Highly recommended.

The raspberry éclairs are incredible 😍 And definitely worth a try or 3! Followed by a lovely lady that's always smiling and friendly to help you. ❤️

Excellent, everything that I've eaten and drank has been Great, from the Portuguese food right up to Cornish Pastie's I'm sure Bruno is a Cornish man I've not eaten so we'll really Great , and friendly and helpful staff definitely make Bruno's a must have your next visit to Albany road...

Wonderful Portuguese tart really crispy and a thick creamy custard. Very tasty bread rolls. All you need is to add some butter and nothing else. I will be visiting when ever I'm in Albany road area. Alas it won't be as often as I would like!!

Fantastic, authentic cafe found tucked away on Diana street. Highly recommend the Portuguese rolls and the caramel and almond tarts. Also the coffee is awesome as well!

The lady that works here is absolutely lovely! I could sit in there all day long. Highly recommend the corn bread - I hadn't ever tried it before but it's delicious!

Pastel del natas ( small custard tarts) are the best I have ever tasted, with various flavours namely raspberry, vanilla, peanut butter, chocolate nutella. They package in lovely boxes which would make lovely gifts. There are wonderful looking brioche, breads too. The atmosphere is warm and friendly. So lucky to have this unique bakery in Roath. The coffee is excellent too.
