I bought strawberry vanilla cake for my daughter's birthday. Such an amazing cake it was. The cake texture and quality was awesome and the taste was wonderful. It was exactly the same cake my daughter wanted for her big day. Thank you for making her day very special. I must say these are the best cakes in Cardiff. 👍

2020 - Thank you Cake box for sponsoring us the chocolate sprinkled cake for our charity week bake sale with Cardiff University at Chaiwala! It was very much appreciated and undoubtedly the money raised will help orphans and children in need! Much Appreciated! Not to mention the cakes always are on point! 2019 - Thank you cake box for sponsoring us two cakes to our Annual Charity Week Dinner at the Cardiff Marriott hotel. The cakes tasted amazing, and looked just as amazing with the intricate piping and crafting skills. Everyone loved the cakes and there was not a single crumb left! I always pop in for cake slices and always order birthday cakes from cake box I m happy to say they don't loose there customer coz order cake for son birthday but accidentally send me wrong cake I told them and they apologise and happily return me fully refund which is very nice they understand 🙂

Sam the manager is very helpful and health conscious ensuring customers come in one at a time and masked. It’s a good idea to preorder online and then collect to save yourself some time. I will say though that arriving and looking at all the cakes on show is just a feast for the eyes. There is so much to choose from and the cakes are delicious we ordered four in total, a coconut bounty cake, a chocolate orange cake, a bueno cake and Oreo cake. They were so lovely and light. If you have a celebration you can get something very short notice they will personalise a cake for you as well. We will be back for cheesecake in the future.

One customer at a time in the shop. Looked very clean. All kinds of cakes very well presented. Good service, explained all the different flavours available. We had cup cakes which were demolished when we got home. Delicious, not too sweet and light and fluffy sponge. Will use again.

Ordered a cake it was very tasty, as I entered the store the staff were very friendly and welcomed me kindly. There was a wide range of beautiful slices and cakes to choose from. As well as that they informed me on any allergy’s and how the cakes are made without egg. They were very concerned about my cake and showed a lot of care if it was for any occasion or so on. I had tried both the Victoria sponge and chocolate sponge for my twins bday and they are both equally tasty. I highly recommend this store!! :) I’ll definitely be back in to try out more delicious cakes.

Purchased a few cakes from here recently, for eggless cakes they weren't too bad compared to other places i've tried. A negative point, some of the cakes from their selection were too sweet.
