L. G.I have only given this branch 3 stars. I have always been happy with the food. Although in my opinion the lardy cake needs more lard and less bread - at times it is like a farmhouse bloomer with a few raisins scattered over the top.
This morning I have been upset by the customer service recieved when ordering my cakes. Most people at this present time are greeting people with smiles. The bakery this morning was shrouded in gloom. I am aware that it is a difficult time for many people. However, I felt that it was a huge effort for those at the counter to take my order and that I was an irritation. A splinter in their day. My walk of the day was in tatters. I feel that I will not be going to this establishment until a friendlier group of staff grace Parsons doors once again.
