Claire the owner is just wonderful! We booked our wedding cupcakes and cutting cake with her, and it’s been one of the best decisions we made. We discussed all the different options we could have in detail before ordering. She even found navy cupcake cases for me to match my colour scheme. We had 4 different cupcakes which were all lovely as well as a lemon cutting cake (my favourite). I will be using her again to get more cupcakes for my next special occasion!

Claire is very friendly and welcoming to all visitors at the shop. Her cakes are superb in quality and quantity and the different flavours are mind blowing. Recently she took our last minute order for 96 mini cupcakes needed for our wedding that was in 4 days and she took it on even though she was already full booked. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED for both her cakes and customer service. Never an issue and the cakes always made to the highest standard.

Ordered a themed 30th Birthday cake and some vegan cupcakes. Claire was lovely, really helpful and gave ideas, with photos, when discussing the design. She arranged delivery with no issues. Wonderful! We sat down for a quick coffee and cupcakes and were shocked at how amazing everything was. I don't have much of a sweet tooth so was very happy at the delicious taste of the pumpkin cupcake without the overpowering sweetness. The balance of flavours were on point and the presentation added to the whole experience.The cafe itself was impeccably clean and perfectly decorated. The owner was very kind and professional, and provided a perfect welcoming experience. Can't wait to visit again soon!

Absolutely the tastiest cake shop in Cardiff, the cupcakes are always perfection with a delicious amount of icing on top! I found this place by chance and I now you use it for all my celebration cakes. I initially came across Teacups and Cupcakes through Instagram after reviewing quite a few cupcake services in Cardiff. From the moment I got in contact with Claire, she was extremely helpful and was able to accommodate my requests including delivery, at such short notice. I also spoke to Claire on the phone to confirm the order and it was clear that she’s going above and beyond for her customers and even sent a photo of the order beautifully packaged accompanied with a bow and private message for my delivery! I don’t live locally, but I would have no hesitation to recommend this company.

Claire recently baked us a variety of cupcakes for our wedding. From first enquiry to picking up the cupcakes our experience of Claire was exceptional. She was unphased when our wedding was postponed due to COVID and was proactive in her communications throughout. Nothing ever felt like too much trouble and the cupcakes are delicious. We couldn't have asked or a better person to make our special day even more special. Great party venue! Everyone had a fabulous time today. Some great creations made. Claire was very accommodating and entertained the children for 3 hours baking from scratch and decorating using sugar paste and buttercream! Highly recommend. 👍😁

Can't tell you how much I love this cupcakery! Where do I begin? The flavors--oh my goodness the flavors! There's 30 or more I think, I've tried more than I'll admit to. From towering desert inspired lemon merange or Blackwell tart to indulgent double chocolate and bounty bar cupcakes! Claire who owns this wonderland of sugar is one of the sweetest (no pun intended) people you could hope to meet. And boy can this lassie bake! Claire has made the beautiful blue and white swirled mini cupcakes I served at Christmas, complete with sparkling sugar snowflakes and white chocolate snowmen. They were a great hit with any and everyone I let share some. This is my favorite hidy holes from the normal world in Cathays, beautifully decorated teashop where the cake and service have never failed to bring a smile to my lips (and plenty of sugar!)

Went here for lunch yesterday with my wife and young daughter and had a lovely lunch! Cracking paninis and spoiled ourselves with Bounty and Peanut Butter Kit-Kat milkshakes. The best was for last however as their trademark cupcakes were gorgeous, especially the peanut butter and choc-chip. They also had high-chairs available and a selection of children's books which was a nice surprise for our 15-month old. Made to feel very welcome by the owner Claire, highly recommended.

We used Emma Janes Cupcake Kitchen for a charity event recently and they were fantastic! Emma was really flexible about design, colour and flavour and we were able to re-create our logo entire from cupcakes. They went down a storm, all of our guests loved them and fantastic value. I recently went out for a meal with 12 friends to celebrate my 50th birthday, my mother arranged for twelve cupcakes instead of and cake. Emma's cake were a delicious sweet treat. I am also a diabetic so my mother arranged to have raspberry cakes with a less sweet topping and they were amazing everyone really enjoyed and enjoyed them. These are the best cupcakes i've tasted and would highly recommend them, the staff are helpful and friendly. Fab, fab, fab.
