K.It was my first time at the lovely bakery and the soft white rolls were perfection. We thoroughly enjoyed our breakfast - thank you! We will be back!
J. c.Just had two pasties, 4 crusty rolls, 2 apple strudel slices, bread pudding + apple & almond slice. Everything was absolutely delicious. All the staff we have met are always cheerful and friendly. Well worth the trip from Mile End.
L. m.Not as good as it looks. Asked for espresso, got given half a cup of filter coffee!!!!! Nothing was too much for the lovely lady behind the counter, but I was expecting much better. The bacon/sausage baps were OK, nothing special.
K. P. A.Surprising range of quality, local produce and goods. Our little shop is a destination now, not just where we shop for the bits we forgot! Wine, ice cream, veggie ready meals, hand made face masks, and oh the bakery goods at the weekend! Well worth dropping in.

F. A.Handy local store. The store has improved greatly since it's refurbishment and new management taken over. Regular opening and closing times. Very clean and tidy. Along with the usual confectionery there is a good range of beer and wine. Lots of grocery items including milk, cheese, tinned goods, packs of biscuits. A little more expensive than the giant supermarkets but much friendlier.

P. B.Jolly little bakery, a branch of Mersea island bakery. Just beware the high tide times if you come early as they may not have received their delivery!
