Raluca did our cake for our wedding in June at Prested Hall. We ordered a 4-tier buttercream cake from Raluca for our wedding, and it tasted absolutely amazing. All our guests really enjoyed the flavours and it went down well. Over the course of the wedding planning Raluca was very helpful and accommodating and gave us some samples to try. It was very hard for us to round it down to just 4 flavours. She helped explain the overall process, and the cake was delivered to the venue fine on the day. We would thoroughly recommend her!

The wedding design consultation was great, what is not to love about lots and lots of delicious cake to try! So many tasty flavours makes it difficult to choose. Luca really helped us visualise what we liked and how it would look. The ordering process was very easy, almost a relief to get another item ticked off the ever growing list of responsibilities on a wedding day. This was one of the easiest things to get ticked off the list, and all thanks to Luca as we were much undecided originally. When we arrived at the venue, it was there...in the correct place...looking INCREDIBLE (better than expected) and tasted amazing. Nothing to fault. The flavour and quality of the cakes, unlike I any cake I have had before, it was really incredible. If you are unsure, find Luca at one of the MANY wedding shows she attends and taste for yourselves. Even once we ordered our cake, Luca was still happy for us to chat at the wedding shows and feast on cake. We cannot recommend Lucas cakes enough, the quality of service and the quality of the cakes are so high. Thank you again Luca!

We chose Luca's Cakes to make our Wedding cake and were not disappointed. From our initial meeting to our tasting Luca was friendly and professional. She was great at turning our ideas into a design and we could not have been more pleased with how our cake looked. The flower sugar art was beautiful and completed our Wedding perfectly. We had a lovely relaxed wedding consultation where we tried many delicious flavours and our ideal design was sketched there and then. Simply the best birthday cake we have ever tasted. This lady is truly talented. Presentation was excellent and it had a taste to match. The icing was velvety smooth, sponge was moist and the cream and jam filling packed full of delicious vanilla and white chocolate flavour. Mouth watering. Great friendly service too. If you are looking for a celebration cake that will have everybody talking then Lucas Cakes should be the only place you call. 5 Star

After trawling through many cake websites for our wedding, one person stood out far above the rest and that was Raluca. Her cakes are phenomenal, not just the taste but the detail and the length she goes to in order to create such beautiful designs. She helped guide us through the planning process and allowed us to sample all the lovely cake flavours which were just delicious! When I walked down the aisle and saw our cake I was absolutely blown away. It was the talk of the evening and we had so many lovely comments of how wonderful it was. We can't thank her enough for what she did and highly recommend her to anyone in need of a cake, no matter what the occasion. I used to work with Luca. I already knew from the first time we met that she tackles anything with enthusiasm and commitment. The role she had required a lot of attention to detail so when she started her business I knew that she would put all the possible effort and research needed to create any cake. When she branched out on her own I ordered a cake for my friends birthday. All I can say is that the cake was fantastic the design was out of this world. There are just not enough stars to do this woman and her company justice!! Amazing!! I ordered a cake for my husband's 40th birthday. From the first enquiry to the final delivery we had such a professional yet personal service. Communication was excellent; we had a couple of additional requirements which were no problem at all and throughout the whole process Raluca was so accommodating. As for the cake itself, my goodness, it was certainly the talking piece of the party and afterwards! The finished product was way way above any expectation or vision that I had and my husband was completely blown away by it. The inside was just as spectacular as the outside and was absolutely delicious!! I cannot recommend Lucas cakes highly enough and I will definitely be using her again and again.
