Toni provided a two tier cake plus a few dozen cupcakes for our ~60 guest wedding this month, all delivered to the venue on the morning of our big day. The cake was absolutely stunning, exactly as we had agreed, and the cupcakes were beautifully decorated. We got a bit excited during the tasting and wanted to have several different flavours, all of which Toni accommodated without issue. Our guests were very complimentary about both the appearance and, crucially, the taste of the cakes! Even days after the event, the leftover cake is still delicious. We will most certainly be back for more in future, thank you Toni!

Toni is incredible! She created the most unique wedding cake for us just from a photograph (due to Covid). It was so delicious that it was meant to serve 30 and last ages but we finished it pretty much overnight! Toffee apple cake and buttercream, crafted into a basked full of pumpkins! We knew right from the outset that we could trust Toni with full creative license for our idea and we’re absolutely thrilled with the results. Our guests couldn’t believe that our cake was real!

What can I say other than I wouldn't suggest anyone else for your wedding/birthdays in fact any cake making really! Right from the start Toni took on my design (which other cake makers wouldn't) and made my wedding cake everything I wanted it to be and more. She is friendly, bubbly, warm and welcoming from the moment you speak to her. The cake tasting was amazing (my husband still talks about it!) the communications we're brilliant (we postponed a few times due to Covid) and right to delivery and set up it was brill! Now to the taste of the cake... we had red velvet and another tier of rum and ginger. The guests loved it, they ate it at the wedding and took some home! They said it was the best wedding cake they had eaten! Thank you so much!

Toni makes the most amazing and best tasting cakes ever. She did my daughter's 21st birthday cake, 2 tiers and 24 cupcakes. She understood my brief and everything was perfect. The whole process was so smooth. The cakes are moist, fresh and an amazing variety of flavours to choose from. Toni was very accommodating. With so many flavours to pick from, I was able to have 2 different flavours for the 2 tier cake and 4 different flavours for the 24 cupcakes which was great. I highly recommend Red Velvet Bakery and I will not look anywhere else for my cakey needs.

I met Toni at my one and only bridal fayre, I instantly knew i wanted her to make our cake. I was gutted to find that Toni was totally booked up for December, after speaking to her and her amazing husband (we chose the talented Stuart for our photos) she went out on a limb to fit us in. The communication was great, I felt like i was talking to a friend and nothing was too much trouble. Toni offers a cake tasting session to help with choice of flavours, this really was great, we tried 10 different flavours and scored each one. From this we made our decision of fruit cake bottom layer and red velvet top layer, she even made calla lilies for the top to compliment my bouquet. We had red velvet and sticky toffee cup cakes for our guests - all tasted delicious! We showed Toni pictures of the sort of thing we were looking for and she offered valuable guidance and advice. We were not disappointed on the day, the cake was AMAZING, simply stunning and was everything we wanted and so much more. Toni @ red velvet bakery all the way, no need to look at any other bakery! Proof is in the tasting! By far some of the best cake I’ve ever eaten! My partner, self confessed non-sweet tooth; devoured each taster! We have our wedding cake booked with Toni, she made us feel so comfortable, explained everything thoroughly and helped us in making the best choices. I was very luckily treated to a one to one sugar craft and cake decorating lesson with Toni @ Red velvet Bakery for my birthday and due to Covid this had been on hold for over a year but this weekend we were able to finally go ahead … now before I attended this course this weekend I had never made a fondant flower or leaf and never successfully covered a cake in fondant. Toni tailored the sessions to exactly what I wanted to learn and when I say the lessons were jam packed I am not kidding … her style of teaching is to show you how and then patiently watch and verbally guide whilst you attempt what you have seen … her knowledge and skill is second to none and I have learnt so so much this weekend … everything was provided including a lovely lunch and a consistent supply of beverages … I have come away with a two tier fully decorated dummy cake incorporating two types of sugarcraft flowers, leaves, buds, berries and twigs fully covered in fondant and fondant to practice with at home … I honestly still cannot believe I have been able to produce what I have this weekend but if that doesn’t speak volumes for the quality of teaching nothing will … I will be back again and again
