Great bakers, can’t go wrong. Steak pie, sausage rolls etc all good. Cakes and hot rolls good too. Well worth a visit if passing.

I always pass through Pathead when out and about and this time (Saturday 6th August ) I stopped in for some lunch. Not only where the young ladies very friendly the pies were amazing!! I got a hot scotch pie and it honestly is the best ive ever tasted. I will definitely stop the next time I am over that way!!

Amazing steak pies! Come here every week for one. Also a good selection in the bakery. Individual apple pies are lovely too! Highly recommend!

Best chocolate donuts I've ever eaten! ...but they need to FRY MORE each day as quite often they're unavailable because of their popularity. Good pastry products, especially the sausage rolls! I don't like trifles but I've been told they're delicious!

Great little bakery, lovely home cooked food. We always plan a stop here when working in Scotland. Try it, you'll love it. Can't recommend the crumble pies enough, just save one for me.

It's not a large bakers, but they have a good selection of pies and cakes and things. They also do coffees and teas and various hot and cold rolls and sandwiches. They are right on the A68, and they have regular customers as well as passing trade. They can be quite busy at times, but they get through any queue quite quickly. It has a real, friendly, corner-shop atmosphere about it. I've been going there for a few decades now.

Home baking is good but bacon roll was disappointing- 2 skimpy rashers of bacon flung in microwave and crispy beyond belief by girl who couldn't care less - please keep your standards by giving decent portions on your rolls

Very small place in Pathhead along the A68. Its a bakers with a bakery out back. Everything is fresh and they even cater for filled breakfast rolls and a variety of savoury bakes as well as bread and cakes . Its a cash only place so make sure you have enough because you may leave with more than you went in for...enjoy
