P. B.Great restaurant by portobello beach - it’s really good for brunch! Their portion sizes are pretty filling! I recommend their selection of cakes - they are really tasty. My favorite is the coffee and walnut cake. The resteraunt can get pretty busy during lunch times which means the service is a bit rushed, but other than that it’s a lovely spot in Edinburgh.

A. K.This review is just for the deluxe hot chocolate and the sorbet, as I didn’t have any baked goods. The blackcurrant sorbet was lovely and very flavourful, but sadly the hot chocolate was awful. It was basically just steamed milk and barely tasted of chocolate. Even the colour of it was almost white :(
A. M.Excellent bakery with a daily selection of sweet and savoury pastries, cakes, quiches and breads which include seeded and seaweed sourdough loaves.
These are slightly more expensive than other chain bakeries but are really good quality.
Teas, decent coffees and a selection of other drinks are available for take out.
There is also currently a selection of upper end groceries available, hard to find flour, ground coffees, eggs etc.
L. L.Outrageously expensive at £3.00 for ONE small individual traybake cake! I bought it over the counter to take away, it's not as if I was sitting in or anything. Thank heaven this isn't my local bakery, I'd be bankrupt with six months! No price displayed & I didn't think to enquire before buying, after all its only a wee cake, saving grace is that it was quite nice.
L. R.Cannot believe we have missed this little gem on previous visits to Portabello. Best coffee I have had since lockdown, tasty banana bread, chocolate chip cookie for my son was a hit and my husband loved the cinnamon shortbread. Will visit again:)
