E. T.I went in looking to get a few things for a present and not being familiar with knitting myself, I was asking for a lot of advice. The lady who helped me was so nice and spent a lot of time showing me various tools, books and yarn. Cannot recommend it high enough if you are looking for a knitting shop. I'm yet to try the cakes but I heard they were amazing.

Anta (spelling?) the owner was amazing and taught me loads of crochet moves and helped me pick out wool and understand my pattern. 10/10 will be visiting again

R. L.I've been going to The Yarn Cake for a few years now. It's a great place to knit, chat, meet other friendly knitters. The staff are friendly, very helpful and welcoming. I regularly go here to meet my knitting friends.
C. A.Warm and welcoming with great tea cakes to accompany the tea and coffee. Excellent cappuccino. And for the knitters there is a great selection of first class yarns. Meabh, the proprietor, is a gracious hostess. Good fun.
