I was bought a bread making class with Danielle as a gift and it was such a great experience! We added my mum onto the course as she is also an avid baker and we had such a great afternoon. Danielle is so informative and has such a great way of teaching that we were so at ease and surprised ourselves with our efforts. We are back on the bread making train, so inspired by Danielle and her knowledge.
Thanks, Danielle!

We had a wonderful afternoon learning the art of sourdough making. We already had a little experience with sourdough, but were not managing to produce consistent quality loaves. Danielle tailored the class to us perfectly and we learnt so much in a couple of hours. She has created a simple method which is grounded in science and experience, and we can’t wait to put it into practice. I would highly recommend.

What a great experience! I booked 2 online bread classes (from Japan), and Danielle made the time difference work, and taught me how to make 2 different kinds of wonderful bread. I'd been baking for a number of years prior to the lessons, but learned so many new techniques (she particularly has a very special kneading method that is wonderful). Highly recommended!

A very no nonsense sourdough class with a lovely knowledgeable lady in a beautiful setting, a well constructed course. I have been trying my hand at sourdough for a couple of years and attended some courses in the past and I have to say this was the best. I left with renewed enthusiasm to tackle sourdough baking that I have not been able to get quite right in the past. Thanks again Danielle it was very nice to meet you. I will let you know my progress

I enjoyed a truly wonderful class last week.
I'd already been on a couple other courses but was still struggling to make sense of their guidance.
I learned some important points and clarified others this week and this weekend I enjoyed putting all those ideas into action with a baking session, and I was so happy to be able to produce the wonderful results in my own kitchen!
Highly recommended, thank you Danielle

I enjoyed a one-on-one baking day with Danielle which focused on sourdough bread and the Rofco oven. Although I had been baking for many years she really helped me with technique and had great suggestions for baking different loaves of bread.
Her straightforward approach to baking bread and getting great results really stood out. I highly recommend her class.

My sister gave my daughter and I an online session with Danielle, as a Christmas present this year - best Christmas present ever!
If sourdough was one of your 2020 lockdown goals, and like us you've struggled to make anything that remotely resembles a loaf and given up, help is at hand!!
The excitement as we lifted the lids on our new sourdough loaves was palpable. For the first time in my life I'd made a loaf that not only looked like bread, it tasted like it too!!
Danielle's recipe is not only simple to follow, her technique is easily demonstrated over zoom. The bite-sized sessions fitted into the end of our busy working week, meaning we had fresh bread to start the weekend - what's not to love.
Thank you Danielle for restoring our faith and confidence. We will definitely be signing up to a face-to-face session when all this madness is over.

Danielle Ellis has helped me tremendously. She has guided me with my Rofco oven and mixer to make delicious sourdough bread. She is filled with a lot of knowledge and she has excellent advice. I appreciate meeting her over zoom meetings and helping me troubleshoot all my sourdough questions. She has helped me get the results I was looking for. Thank you!!!

Having attended a bread making course previously it left me with some gaps which Danielle more than filled. Her knowledge and experience was willingly shared with all the participants. The bread we produced was delicious.
Thank you

As an absolute beginner, I found the instruction very easy to follow and discovered that I could produce an excellent loaf of bread! Thoroughly recommend Danielle as a master baker who can communicate the knowledge to an inexperienced person like myself.

My friend and I did the Sourdough breadmaking course with Danielle. What a fantastic course. Danielle is a fabulous tutor. She shared her extensive knowledge with us and we were able to produce some great bakes. Would highly recommend this course and look forward to taking another course in the future. Thank-you Danielle, see you again soon!

My wife bought me a voucher to attend one of Danielle's workshops and I decided to upgrade it to a one-on-one session looking at French bread making in particular. That was a great idea as working with Danielle in this way was really good. All the pre-workshop comms were great and, in these days, the COVID instructions were clearly set out for me.
Danielle has a wonderful way of working with you and demonstrating the techniques of French Bread making. She also made it very interesting and we were soon flying along working on different breads using different flours and techniques. The morning shot by and towards the end we were already baking the first loaves. After a home cooked lunch, with homemade bread, of course, we spent time talking about places to buy bread making equipment and flour whilst we shaped the rest of the breads and then cooked them. By the end of the session I had 4 different types of bread to take away with me and one to cook the following morning.
I had a wonderful time with Danielle and can wholeheartedly recommend her to anyone who wants to learn how to bake bread or improve their skills. You will both enjoy yourself and come away with increased knowledge and wonderful bread. Thanks for a great day Danielle.

Danielle provided our group of 6 with a fun pizza making session. We laughed and enjoyed ourselves and had a lovely treat to eat at the end. Thanks Danielle

I was delighted to take an online class with Danielle, who more than lived up to these glowing testimonies. She introduced me to making sourdough loaves in a calm and funny fashion and the product... well, let's just say, it was a delight and has kept on being so on a weekly basis ever since.
So pleased to have met Danielle, even virtually. Thanks for the wisdom and the good humour.

My family bought me an online Baguette-baking course for Christmas. The correspondence from the start was very good, and all useful links were shared with me before my sessions started.
Danielle was very informative and the pace of the sessions were perfect.
I thought I knew a bit about bread-baking, but I soon realised how much more I could learn! The tips about temperatures and textures were very useful indeed. I made 4 baguettes which came out a lot better than I had hoped for - they made for a very tasty lunch later that day!

Danielle created a bespoke day of baking. It was a well thought out course creating croissants and a multitude of baked breakfast goods.
I would definitely recommend a personalised course with Danielle, she has a wealth of knowledge and experience to share.

Danielle is a great teacher. She is very knowledgeable and able to pass on some of her vast experience during a lesson, but also very patient with complete novices. Really proud of the bread that I made with her, and I have continued to use her techniques with much success at home!

I had a brilliant time and learnt so much on the Severn Bites Sourdough class! Dani had prepared all the stages beforehand so that we were able to experience the whole process and come away with sourdough starter to use ourselves as well as a lovely finished loaf of bread (sourdough actually takes far longer than an afternoon to prepare).
It was so good to see what the starter should look like when ready to use and to feel when dough is ready. Those things you can't get from reading a book.
I would thoroughly recommend going on Dani's classes. In fact I am just going to look to see what the next one is!

Great course and really good value. Danielle is a great teacher, she made everything clear and simple and having put what I learnt into practice I’ve made some really good bread at home. Can’t wait to do a further course.

Danielle’s classes are a lot of fun! Even though I’d done plenty of baking in the past, I learnt so much. Danielle is absolutely lovely, and most importantly - patient.

Danielle is a font of knowledge. I was lucky to stumble across her when needing info about the Rofco oven. I shall be making a trip to see her for a half day lesson. I ordered the B40. Thank you Danielle.

It was great to make bread in Danielle’s home. A small group of 4 of us, great tuition, great company and ... great outcome! I love bread☺️

Our class was one of the first post lockdown and was held in the garden! It was excellent: well planned and organised, informative and a very practical learning experience. To be recommended.

An intensive and comprehensive introduction to French bread. Good communication before and support after. I'll be back.
