We've got so used to supermarket breads of the awfullest quality that, places like yours are something I had stopped hoping even existed, a long time ago.
The sourdoughs are possibly the best I've ever tried and the bacon and brie sourdough sandwich with salad (pictured) should be the new standard for every Britons' lunch.

The bread is as good as Peter Cook, which means really really good.
I wish they'd make a Chollah or Bollkah, like Grodzynski's or Keenes London NW10, so miss that bread! But only cos i trust them to do a proper job.

I have been a customer since they first opened.
I've been to their pizza evenings, The salads they make to go with the pizza are really good.
I had my 50th birthday party there in pre covid times. They made me my birthday cheese cake.
I like eating all of their food.

A roasted vegetable goats cheese and pesto toasted sandwich ( sadly not available until they re on their cafe)
Sausage rolls
The cheesecake is my absolute favourite
One other thing, all of their bread is organic.

C. C.A lovely place for a drink and baked goods! Great place for people watching - the bakers as well as the other customers. Not really set up for children (it's a bit cramped) but child-friendly nonetheless. I took my one-year-old and she had a great time!

M. M.Best real bakery around. Actual proper sourdough breads like the French, Italian and Germans do it. Same with the cakes. It's what you'd get in a boulangerie or Bäckerei. It's where we get our bread from when we feel like Brotzeit or Kaffee und Kuchen. Highly recommend. The staff is absolutely lovely and professional. I'm incredibly grateful to have found it.
J. B.Top quality bread and bakes, really good croissants! I would much rather eat this every day and support my local area rather than buying terrible supermarket bread but price makes it difficult. Expect to pay £3 - £4 for a large loaf and £2 - £3 for pastries and bakes. Even if you can't afford it every day though, it's definitely worth treating yourself to it once in a while!

a. k.Rustic (in the best possible way) and peaceful. They have an assorted range of freshly baked loaves (including sourdough options), lovely pastries and savouries. Take away or sit in, you will be very satisfied with your choice.

T. D.Not much to look at from the outside. However, go inside and marvel at the bread and cakes being made. Even better buy something to eat and marvel at the freshness and flavours. I did not have a drink but from what I saw they too were good. Well worth a trip just to watch and smell, but go the whole hog and taste as well.

The goats cheese toastie with sour dough rye bread was THE BEST I HAVE EVER HAD - EVER!!!. Ideally this is a place that we would like to keep to ourselves but others deserve to know about it. But please do not tell TOO many about it!

P. O.Called by for lunch. We got a selection of savoury and sweet bakes, all very good & ate them outside in the covered area. Coffee was excellent. Very friendly staff. Always good to see a proper bakery in action!
