N. S.I used the Click & Collect service on their website for a birthday cake. Easy to use and straightforward to order and pay. My only issue was that the order didn't appear in My Account and I resorted to call the shop to ask whether the order was still there or not.
Cake was made as shown on their website. The presentation and types of fruits were exactly the same as the website.
I ordered Chocolate & Fruit Birthday Cake 1 and went for the Victorian sponge with fruit spread which made the overall cake a little too sweet for my family's liking. Nonetheless, my family still enjoyed the cake and it was cleared very quickly. They didn't notice that this was eggless cake and it tasted no difference.
The price is reasonable for celebration cakes from bakery / cake shops. Recommended.

S.went it cake box last week looked at the wonderful cakes on display I got a leaflet to show my wife the cakes on offer on our day off today stopped on our way home my wife was in heaven all those beautiful cakes we bought two to take home they we're fantastic if you haven't been before get yourself down there you won't be disappointed

K. S.The staff are polite and the shop is clean. However, some of the cakes contain animal products and many of the cakes look laden with sugar. I doubt many vegans or those looking for good quality healthy cakes will shop here. The emphasis appears to be on selling what looks like 'pretty' pieces of confectionery. Also I suspect the staff's friends have written reviews - visit yourself to make your own assessment!
K. M.Popped into Cake Box Newland Ave and bought Black Forest gateaux and Red velvet cake slices….. omg they are to die for. Not too sweet either. The shop is well presented and clean and the staff are very friendly. Will definitely be buying from here again
