I'm new to Hull and was recently introduced to Herby's by my work colleagues and I am in love.
Whether it's a lovely warm steak sandwich or a nice piece of sausage n tomato slice, their pies are to die for and best customer service ever! :)
M. G. Y.I do like the occasional herbys for lunch. They always have a lovely selection of sandwiches and salads, plus the sell pipers crips which it always a huge bonus!! The staff always seem friendly and helpful and their prices are competitive.. Definitely worth grabbing a bite to eat from here.. I did prefer their old shop but I do understand that had to move..
L. E.If you want a sandwich in the city centre.. Herby's is the place to go! Good prices, great quality and the size of the sandwiches are filling!
And they probably sell the best sausage rolls in the city centre too, even better than Greggs! ;)
A. L.As a newly turned vegan this place is absolutely fantastic. Since it's relocation it's expanded it's vegan options almost 4 fold. It now offers vegan sausage rolls (which taste just like the real thing) vegan pasties (of which there is now a thai flavoured one) pakoras, onion bhajis, and 4 or 5 ready made wraps to choose from. And the prices are excelllent! Would strongly recommend it to any vegans in the area.
As an aside, for non vegans, the food that's on offer from quiches to pizza rolls, to sandwiches the size of a child's head, you will be spoilt for choice!
d. r.Proper Yorkshire pork pies with pastry to die for. Sausages rolls - one just isn't enough. The carvery ham is beautiful in one of their breadcakes. And the great thing is, all Herby's stuff freezes really well.
