How have we not seen this place before now? Being a avid watcher of Inspector Montalbano, we’ve always wanted to try Cannelloni, and boy was it gorgeous! You can get a small or large box, and then pick and mix to your hearts content, and there is so much to chose from. As they are mostly puff pastry, the cost isn’t as much as you’d think, being that the pastries are so light. We will certainly be going back on our next trip to Ipswich.

I've been looking at this place since it opened and only went in for the first time today. Great service, lovely Italian treats. Warning to vegetarians though! Some of the pastry isn't vegetarian but there are alternatives in the same flavour, so just ask to be sure!

Sent some Macaroons from Cafe Bonbon via Deliveroo to my sister, I called up to see if they could add a little note and they went above and beyond and attached a really cute little gift tag with the message on. They were super prompt and easy to order from. Not the last time I'll be ordering and will definitely be visiting next time I'm in town!

Super friendly staff and great food. We had a lovely hotdog and a chicken wrap, and we were full for the rest of the day lol. The pistachio baklava was still warm from the oven! So after trying one, we decided we needed more and bought a small box of it, it's to die for. Definitely one of my favorite food places now.

Bon Bon is a lovely shop. The window displays are beautiful and full of lovely treats. They serve savory food too, I saw Croque monsieur on the menu. They also serve hot and cold drinks. I was greated and served quickly when I entered shop. I tried one of the chocolate filled tarts with meringue on top it was divine. I will definitely be stopping in again.

Wow! I’ve wanted to taste a fresh cannoli and today was the day that happened. Soft non greasy exterior and whipped pistachio creamed cheese filling. A-mazing! We also bought a bag of other goodies and all lush too. No pics of the cannoli as it was too delicious to wait. Sadly I don’t visit Ipswich that often but when I do I’ll be back.

Incredible - just how independent businesses should be. Imaginative and high quality cakes and international delicacies along with excellent coffee and savoury snacks are available. Couldn't taste everything on my first visit, but will be back to try.

BonBon catered our wedding and i must say it was all absolutely amazing. value for money is unreal 125 pound for enough desserts to feed 80 people. literally gave them 3 days notice and they produced impeccable desserts bang on time freshly made the day of our wedding. cannot recommend more

Happened to catch side of the side of the shop, it immediately caught my attention! Lots of beautiful baklava on the top shelf. We decided to go in, it wasn't an issue deciding what to buy but what NOT to buy! We tried all the baklava, one beautiful cream filled pastry with a piece of coffee nougat. All were lovely and the nougat excellent. Thank goodness we were only visiting I don't think i could stay away!

Great selection of different and high quality sweets and food, that matches up with the best of what mainland Europe offers. The sausage roll is deceptively bigger than you think (& yum) and the arancini/arancino would impress a nonna (Italian Grandmother).

Bought cakes and arancini from this place a few times. I think it’s a husband a wife team. The shop itself is a delight to behold with wall to wall italianesque deserts. BUT make sure you don’t miss out on the delicious savoury arancini (fried rice balls for the uninitiated): this is one of my favourite Italian treats and these guys make them goooooood! PLEASE SUPPORT THESE GUYS IPSWICH NEEDS MORE QUALITY VENDORS LIKE THESE!!!!

FLAVOUR! Really tasty pastries, fresh and delicious packed with flavour. Arancini and burrito were surprisingly good. As was the coffee. One of the best places for casual eats in Ipswich. Lovely people running the place too.

Delicious tasty treats. Spoiled for choice so buy it all! We were walking past today and couldn't resist popping in after seeing the delights in the window. Especially the baklava and fudges. Grabbed a coffee, some amaretto chocolate, baklava and some cupcakes for the kids. Will return next time we're in town!
