Extremely busy but we'll worth the wait!! Small but very welcoming with super friendly staff. The choice of cakes is obviously the reason you're there and you will not be disappointed (unless they've run out of Bruce!!). They also do hit chocolate and a range of merch. 100% worth a visit, highly recommended!!

Don't rock up and then cry that they have sold out due to their massive success. The staff are great and Rich truly is a Master Baker!

Convenient location and adjacent parking, helpful and friendly staff, tried several cakes and cookies. Unfortunately I found all the goods too sweet, rich and quite dry for myself and family agreed so didn’t finish eating them, quite a costly mistake.

I visited Get Baked this past week with my 7 week old daughter and pram. My partner had an appointment in Headingley and after seeing all of Get Baked’s delectable desserts on their Instagram page we decided it was too convenient to not visit and sample the delicious desserts on offer. The staff were super helpful, friendly and personable, showing a genuine interest in my daughter and happily answering any questions I asked about the desserts. The customer service was absolutely first class. There is a great selection of delicious looking pies, cakes (THE BRUCE) and brownies to chose from. We opted for The Purple Haze, Biscoff Pie, Lemon Meringue and Rumpelstiltskin. The Purple Haze was a beautifully light lemon tart on a ginger biscuit base with blueberry compote on top and the best sprinkles imaginable. The Lemon Meringue was a pure classic with a sweet fluffy Italian meringue topping and my girlfriends favourite. The biscoff pie was just biscoff on top of biscoff with biscoff crumbled on top which was pure indulgence. My favourite was Rumpelstiltskin because anything that used the flavours of Black Forrest Gateaux is absolutely boss! As you can see from my wordy review I absolutely loved all of the desserts. My only gripe is that I couldn’t order one of everything because the pram only has so much storage space, but that allows for a repeat visit later to try everything we missed out on this time round. Awesome desserts, great staff, give this place a visit as there is absolutely no way you will be disappointed!

Bought three different slices of pies and cake, and they’re all absolutely outstanding. The quality of the food is not like your usual dessert takeaway. This is top tier baking. Clearly the chocolate they use is the expensive stuff - it knocks you out with richness. I’m gonna have to have a kip. Staff were all lovely, down to earth. Every pie was explained to me, so I knew exactly what I wanted. The bakery itself is bright and clean and really nicely decorated. To say the food is so high quality the pricing of these puddings is spot on, if not bloody cheap. Point being: 10/10 experience!! Get your cakes, pies and brownies from here, you’d be daft to go elsewhere.

After all the #sprinklegate hype I knew I needed to go, ordered online for collection in 10 mins. Parking was easy enough in Headingley Tap pub. The shop itself is nice and very clean. All desserts displayed. We ordered 'Bruce'- shared it between 2 adults and 2 kids- tasted amazing, rich and smooth, 'Dynasty' tasted truly amazing, 'Miso banoffe' delicious and very much my favourite- gutted I had to share and 'skippy pie' again another beautiful dessert rich, well balanced flavour and would have again. This place is totally worth the hype and the money.

First visit to Get Baked, after a recommendation from a friend. Parking in Headingly is always a bit of a challenge, but that's the fun and games of being on the high street. The store was clean and tidy, and looked hygienic, staff were in casual attire (which is great) but clean and we'll presented. The staff member working the counter was pleasant and helpful, making some recommendations for me. Of course, I had to try a slice of "Bruce", the signature Chocolate cake, along with a selection of cookies and a cake slice. Bruce is an impressive sight, probably standing about 6"/150mm high and was carefully packaged in a protective box, while the cookies and slice went into paper bags. Once home, I split the spoils of my hunting trip with the wife. Bruce was adorned with some squirty cream and half devoured, the rest being saved for breakfast the next day (the slices really are quite large), and the cookies and slice spread out over a lazy Sunday. All of them were very nice, and I'm certainly considering going back to try some other flavors. They're a little pricey - two slices of cake and three cookies were £17, but these aren't mass produced in a soulless factory, but hand baked by a small team. I don't think I could justify going often, but they make a great treat or celebration, or a nice reward. I think my waistline would also benefit - I dread to think how many calories are in Bruce!

Went for the Caramac pie which was amazing and a good sized portion. The misses had a chocolate brownie with the house mallow and liquid chocolate that she really enjoyed. Which is good as I have the same lined up for my midnight snack. Couldnt resist a new gym T shirt which after it arrived I realised was a solid choice. Delivery was pretty quick too.

So glad you have reopened!!! Drove up from Sheffield today to grab a slice of Bruce and a selection of pies. SO worth it (even going the wrong way and getting stuck in traffic with a crying baby in the back). Me and my husband shared and Bruce has defeated us. He is delicious, but I'm so high on sugar I can barely see and I haven't even finished the slice. We also got Honey Peach, Armadillo, Drunken Turtle, Caramac, Skippy and Lotus pies which all taste amazing, though we could only manage the tiniest bit of each after Bruce had his way with us. Incredible.

Ever since #sprinklegate put these guys on my radar i have been a frequent customer. Sometimes the real thing doesn't always live up to the hype on social media but i can honestly say they surpassed my expectations. From their whole range of pies (of which i have sampled nearly all of them) to their delicious brownies and banging raspberry glazed cookies (please bring them bad lads back) you will find something for everyone!

Just Baked has just opened on North Lane Headingley. Good choice of desserts available from alternative Lemon Merigue and a variety of cookies. There is also a good choice of hot drinks. I bought a sllce of the Drunken Tailor with a salted caramel layer and 1 slice of the Blackened Cheesecake with raisins in a yummy syrp. Cost £5 each. Definitely worth it and just so scrumptious. 100%recommended.

We stopped by in Leeds specifically to try these desserts. They’re amazing. Bruce is the best chocolate cake on the planet. The Mr. Pistachio pie, it was so good, I almost entered a different astral plane. The rest of them (we bought 5!) were all “OMG level” good. You must treat yourself to this!

These guys are the absolute shizzle. I've been forced to visit on a number of occasions now due to insanely seductive pies being posted on their Instagram, along with the notorious jewel in the crown Bruce. All I can say is every time Ive been, I've left with a wheel barrow full of treats and not ever been left disappointed. Unique, stupendous and quite frankly magical creations are born in that kitchen, and everyone working in there has clearly passed their wizards degree in delivering scrumptiousness. The pies are simply sensational and worth every penny in your wallet! Terry Poppins, Movie Night 2.0, Oreo and most recently Lemon Meringue Pie have left me dazed and confused at the wonder I've ingested. Words cannot describe the taste sensations as these sweet treats pass between your lips. Then we come to Bruce.... he has to be seen to be believed, he's layer upon layer of pure unimaginable filth, the absolute People's Champ of cakes, more chocolatey than a slap in the face with a chocolate sledge hammer. Bruce is a marvel of the cake game, a phenomenon and I shall forever bow down to his greatness. To sum up, Get Baked are the nuts. Top staff. Top treats. Top sprinkles. SENSATIONAL!!!

Went in today for their chocolate cake, Bruce, having succumb to the hype. I was expecting all show and no pants, as these things often are. However, I've never tasted anything finer in my life. Absolutely delicious, you can tell it's been recently baked in house, and using good quality ingredients. Other dessert shops in Leeds, take note. Well worth £10 a slice, which is far more than I've ever paid for cake. Disclaimer: the husband maintains no cake is worth £10 a slice, but that didn't stop him scoffing his half and the bit I'd saved for tomorrow.

Went yesterday to get a slice of Bruce and the banoffee pie, would highly recommend both as they were sublime. It was to celebrate my birthday so it was a shame I couldn't get the sprinkles but it couldn't be helped. Definitely the best banoffee pie I've ever had and Bruce lived up to the hype. The £10-12 quid you pay per slice is 100% worth it. You can taste the quality of ingredients and the care they put into their work. I'd also previously ordered through their delivery service which I would highly recommend, we got the drunken turtle, cherry meringue and chocolate orange brownie which were all bloody delicious. Overall, I would highly recommend for the excellent quality sweet goods, the price tag and the good rep is well earned. Shame about the sprinkles though.

After buying pretty much everything that was on offer (I think we spent over £45) I can confirm that it was all absolutely spectacular. We had high expectations after being longstanding fans of Get Baked, but we were not disappointed! Staff were lovely and helpful, super clean premises and a brilliant selection of sweet treats. Too difficult to pick a favourite item, but current top 3 are the cherry lemon meringue pie, salted chocolate cookie, and Bruce obviously. Very unlike the generic traybake businesses popping up everywhere, neither fun or flavour have been compromised here! Cannot recommend Get Baked enough. Also had compliments on my Get Baked t-shirt people spotting the logo, thanks so much and see you again very soon!

Have to admit I was prepared for Bruce not to taste anywhere near as good as he looks .. but seriously it is BY FAR the best cake I've ever tasted in my life, without a doubt worth the money, if you are lucky enough to see him when you walk in .. I'm yet to find a fault with this business and can only recommend whenever anyone says they want pudding, because you won't get this quality or amazing taste from a supermarket buy, worth every penny I've spent ...
