Great service for our afternoon tea, and good quality food. The afternoon tea was quite filling so we took half the cake slices away in a box. The staff member serving us was friendly and attentive.

Patisserie Valerie, Leeds: This was my first experience of afternoon tea and I thoroughly enjoyed it, the atmosphere was very relaxed, the place was clean and professional and the service was terrific. I purchased a voucher from Buyagift for this experience and it was very affordable, around £15 if I remember correctly, I wasn’t aware that it came with drink refills which was a nice surprise. The sandwiches were delicious, we went with the vegetarian option which had a egg, cheese and pepper selection, the quality was very high. The scones were delicious, I wasn’t expecting hot scones so when they came and were complemented perfectly by the jam and the cream I was very impressed. The sweet desserts were very rich, my favourite had to be the carrot cake. In terms of drinks, the hot chocolate was delicious and the tea was on point. The macaroons were nice however, whilst I was tasted them I couldn’t help but to compare them with the ones that I tried at @h4lo_cafe which were by far the best I’ve had in a while. Absolutely loved this place. Mum and I celebrated her 80th birthday here. Szylvia looked after us, serving a beautiful array of sandwiches, scones and cakes. All very fresh and tasty. When we were leaving I mentioned that it was mum's birthday and the lovely manager let her choose a piece of cake from their delicious selection. I got the deal on Groupon and it was a lovely treat for mum. She also got a brief history lesson on Valerie's. We boxed up what we couldn't eat for the kids to enjoy at home.

Very nice place to go and get fat. The afternoon tea for two is what we had and only issue is you can only choose hot drinks so we had to pay for cold drinks separately but you get unlimited hot drinks which is an absolute bargain! Really nice atmosphere and extremely friendly staff.

Immediately became my favourite patisserie in Leeds. The cakes are amazing, very delicious and very sweet. I tried the Raspberry Bombe and the red velvet, I can't decide which was more delicious. The éclairs, unbelievably, very delicate and so nice. The decor is so stylish and classy. The staff are some of the nicest people ever.

Ordered a pot of tea and hot brownies to share, unfortunately they found out after taking our order they had run out of brownies so instead we got pancakes instead. They took a little while to come and were sadly not quite hot when they did. We asked the waitress if they could warm them up again, she was already very apologetic about the time it took to get them and so very kindly got us a fresh replacement. The manager then brought over another pot of tea AND six cupcakes on the house as a sorry. It was very above and beyond customer service and completely made our day! I appreciate that they were busy and made a little mistake but how they handled it was perfect. Thank you so much (food and drinks were delicious too)!

Lovely afternoon tea , selection of different sandwiches, scones with fresh cream / jam and a selection of mini versions of the trademark patisserie Valerie cakes, along with a proper pot of fresh tea made with loose tea leaves. Staff pleasant and a lovely setting & atmosphere. Nice for a treat .

They have a good selection of cakes here but the quality is not always consistent. Today I ordered a double chocolate gateaux and a single espresso. Both were very good but previously I found the cake way too dry, therefore 4 stars from me.

A small venue for a busy cafe. The food is well prepared, although a little overpriced. Some improvement to service since last visit but not quite there yet. The tea and coffee hardly ever arrive with your food or cake and orders are lost or forgotten about. On the plus side, the cake selection is amazing and varied enough to provide a treat for all pallets.

I visited Patisserie Valerie on 18/06/2018 and thoroughly enjoyed my time here. I had Eggs Florentine, a slice of Lemon and Raspberry Gateau and a large Cappuccino. It was all very tasty and well presented. The staff were very friendly and I was served by Keira, who was extreme polite.
