*edit* reviewing again because Scoffs is honestly our favourite place to eat. I can't tell you how many breakfasts we have had from here and as much as I try to try everything else I can't pull myself away from their club sandwich. we even had our Christmas lunch from there! 😂 we've introduced a lot of people to scoffs, all who have loved it just as much as we have, vegans, veggies and omnis alike. it's wonderful to have such a great place so close to us, and it feels so good to know you aren't just supporting somewhere that has great food, but you're also supporting a small business run by a family that it is clear put their heart and soul into everything they do. I've never known a business put themselves out as much as they do just to make sure to please as many customers as possible. whatever your diet I cannot recommend scoffs highly enough *original review* Incredible! Amazing, perfectly cooked food and more choice then I could ask for. We will be back for definite so we can try everything. Also massive thankyou to the staff for being so friendly and accommodating

Absolutely amazing little cafe! The food is lovely, even with a huge amount of choice there is no compromise on quality. Something for everyone - plant based 'meats' alongside salad options, breakfast foods, and amazing sweet treats. But what makes Scoff's is the team behind it, they're passionate and dedicated, and their communication and engagement with customers is excellent. They're always open to feedback and use social media to sound out different ideas so they can make sure they're catering to what people want. It's an absolute gem and I highly recommend a trip there for anyone in the area (vegan or not!).

We had the best experience here yesterday. The decor is decorated beautifully and everything was so clean even in a busy period. The price point is fantastic, the portions are huge, and the quality and flavour is so so good. The kickin chicken on the menu is something else, the texture is the closest thing either of us have ever had to the real thing. We were given a sausage roll as the last customers before close as there was some left, not only did they do this out of the kindness of their hearts but also reduced food waste, and fed a local homeless person too. So much love in this little diner and you can really feel it in the environment too. Please give here a visit and leave a tip, you won’t be dissapointed!

Finally getting round to leaving a review of this great cafe after visiting this morning for breakfast with my non Veggie parents, who both thoroughly enjoyed their food. Friendly, welcoming, clean, excellent value for money (especially compared to many other Vegan eateries) and most importantly delicious. Mom is off now trying to figure out how to make her own garlic sauce for mushrooms on toast back home and Pop would “rather a Mac’Scoffin to the greasy ones” from ‘that’ other place.

Fast service, friendly staff. They do a huge plant based full english breakfast with everything you'd want. Price includes a drink. The scotch egg is incredible! And sausage rolls wow! Not dry at all, just flavoursome and good texture. They really know what they're doing when it comes to vegan/plant based food. You won't miss meat when you go there. Very reasonably priced! I wish I'd got a doughnut!

I gave our latest visit to Scoffs 5 stars because it only goes up to 5, in reality Scoffs is always a 10 star joint. The food is consistently STUNNING, the service is always so genuinely friendly and the atmosphere is always effortlessly cheerful; both the food and the vibe are 'hearty'! Tl;dr - Delicious vegan food, a great location for those new to vegan options or wanting a local place for vegan meals; first day service was slow and a little disorganised due to a couple of issues outside of the shop's control, but worth the wait! I came in for the opening morning (opened at 9, got there about 09:05), with the aim of comparing a classic 'BEST' (Bacon, Egg, Sausage, Tomato) sandwich, and a couple of pasties. I was fourth in-line from opening, and it took about 35 minutes from queuing to being served. I was impressed by: • The range of options available for breakfast • Great value food prices • The friendliness of the staff - keen to help and talk through options with customers • Staff hygiene - gloves, hats, and facemasks, all worn properly all the time • The counter display - full, colourful, and very tempting! Great to see such a range • The branding - I don't think I've seen another local shop launch with such a strong brand presence and scheme The food: BEST Sandwich (£3.50) (4/5) - Toasted white bun, 2 fakey bacon rashers, 2 vegan sausages, tofu (scrambled) egg, and fresh tomato from the counter. A tasty sandwich with well seasoned ingredients; the bacon strips were thick (about 2x as thick as a normal thick slice of bacon) and flavourful, the tofu egg would be better in an omelette form (scrambled fell out the bun quite a bit), and has a little bit of a curried flavour to it, which was perfectly cut through and complemented by the acidity of the tomatoes. The toasted bun was a surprise, but a welcome one, there were no greasy aftertastes, and overall the quality of the sandwich was top notch. Sausage roll [no fennel] (£1.50) (5/5) - A vegan sausage mix inside crispy, flaky pastry, served cold. Wow. Blows Greggs out the water for taste, texture and mouth feel. I've had regular sausage rolls that feel less like a sausage roll than this pasty! The thin, flakey pastry is perfectly cooked on top with a great wash which just crisps wonderfully when you take a bite. Whereas some vegan sausage rolls can be a bit moist and claggy at the bottom, this was crisp and not very greasy at all. The well seasoned sausage mix has a hint of cheese and onion to it, without those flavours overwhelming the mix; it's a relatively firm mix which holds its texture well without being spongey or bouncy, akin to a high quality artisan sausage roll. Fantastic value, but slightly let down by it being cold when served. A quick heat up at home elevates this vegan sausage roll to full glory. Well worth a purchase and a steal at £1.50 given the quality. Cornish Pasty (£2.00) (3/5) - A vegan cornish pasty mix inside shortcrust pastry, served cold. Definitely not the most appealing to look at, and a little flat! But you take a bite into it and it is unmistakably a Cornish pasty, albeit a non-artisan one. If someone gave me this and told me it was a Cornish pasty, I'd believe them but chew them out for the wash being 'yellow' (almost like a tumeric colour). The veg mix and seasoning tastes fantastic, it's well cooked and still holds a certain firmness to it without it being mushy or overprocessed, and the 'meat' genuinely looks like corned beef. The pastry is a let down, it tasted about 5 minutes underbaked, the wash didn't add anything visually, and the bottom quarter of the pasty was missing pastry altogether. That said, the mix was well placed (no big holes from the mix to the top of the pastry), and not too moist (causing just the bottom of the pastry to be underbaked). Would recommend a second sausage roll over this. Overall, I'd definitely go again, and recommend it to others, especially those who are new to Vegan food. Get yourself down there and try it out, and definitely get yourself a sausage roll!

My second time here, first time i got the breakfast, never liked the idea of black pudding but then i came here and i can see why its the perfect compliment a full english. Scoff’s is a breath of plant-based fresh air. The staff is so very friendly and the food is on-point. I ordered a breakfast sandwich that was perfectly constructed alongside their house-made croissants and quiche. I live up the road and I’m so glad to have such a lovely cafe nearby. WOW, I feel lucky this has opened so close to us! We went for lunch at 11:30, being vegan AND Gluten Free it's so great to have lots of options all under one roof. We had burgers, chips and a slice of cheesecake - all of which were delicious. Staff were all very personable, happy and friendly - we're glad we went early as bang on 12pm the queue started! Can't wait to go back to try the stuffed baguettes on the counter, or the salad boxes... we'll be back!

I am not vegan, so this was not the reason for choosing to eat here. I had one of the meat free burgers and chips, which I thoroughly recommend, it was very tasty and was a very good size. There is a choice of milks with the coffee and I chose oat as I was told this was the taste I would be most used to. It was perfect. The atmosphere was very pleasant and staff excellent and friendly. We sat outside as it was good weather. There is a customer toilet and we had no problem parking. Such a great place, which we hope to go back to regularly.

My partner and I have just had THE best breakfast we have ever had, seriously! The quality of the food was absolutely amazing for the price, and it included a drink! I've had really mediocre breakfasts before but this was super delicious - I LOVED the facon and the spam, and the black pudding was a great touch! I won’t lie, Tracy is a friend, but I intended to have a proper try of the food and review honestly. Firstly, the shop itself is amazing. Bright, quality furnishings and ultra efficient staff. The location is spot on and 2 minutes from where I work. Now the food. Just DELICIOUS! It looked great, tastes amazing. Super fast service too. On my first visit I had a gluten-free New Yorker sandwich which came with crisps & coleslaw, and it was a superb. I’m not vegan but this beat a meat meal hands down. So tasty! Today we had the burgers. We’re three big lads who work damn hard at a brewery, and this whopper of a meal powered us through a monster shift. The patty was almost indistinguishable from meat, the cheese was CHEESY and and the bread (gluten free for me) was soft and moist. Ace chips too! I now have a favourite healthy eatery on my doorstep! Scoffs is hands down the best vegan cafe I've been to in Leeds. Great food at fair prices. The staff are so welcoming and friendly and there's never a long wait to get food. Although the menu is massive, every item i've tried from it has been great. A recommendation would be the MacScoffin, imagine a McDonalds McMuffin but a million times better. Their version of the full english, the scoffalot is also amazing and will really fill you up (there's been a few times I've gotten it delivered because it's such a great hangover cure :)) (although if I was to knickpick, the facon needs some work) Their coffees are also really nice and strong. They make their own sausage rolls which once again knocks other well known chains out of the park. Their painnis are great especially if you can get one with the fake chicken in it. My only wish for them is for their food to be avaliable to more people, show people how great vegan food can be. In response to the owner : I believe it was the streaky bacon, felt it lacked flavour in comparsion to the rest of the dish

Went to check out Scoffs the day it opened and was completely blown away! It’s clearly a labour of love, starting with the food... I went for the salad bar which included a number of lovely tasty salads featuring fresh herbs and cheezes. Chatting to Tracy, the owner, I found out that she spent months researching recipes and sourcing the best pies and cakes... and it shows. On top of that, it’s incredible value for money and the decor is fab. I’m lucky enough to live locally but I’d definitely travel to this place... can’t wait to return regularly to try out the rest of the menu. 100% recommend.

Can’t go wrong with Scoff’s! The menu is extensive and varied, it’s always a struggle to choose just one thing as there’s so many great options. I was lucky enough to visit Scoffs on the first day of opening. I had a Chilli hotdog (amazing) - never tried a vegan hotdog before but it tastes just like a regular one! I also had a selection of salads from the deli bar, this was my favourite bit, the salad with vegan feta and pomegranates was unreal, it was nice to have such a big selection to choose from! I finished with a lotus biscoff donut and a coffee, both 10/10. Couldn’t recommend Scoffs enough, such a warm and friendly atmosphere, such an amazing menu something on there for everyone!
