H. W.Our wedding cake was beyond expectations. From the first message to sweet valentine to the final 'congratulations' message, the customer service was amazing.
The cake tasting was amazing! So many lovely flavours to try and presented so well. It was so hard to pick a flavour because they were all so good. When we finally picked our flavours, we gave a brief overview of what we wanted and what we ended up with was so much more beautiful than I ever could of imagined. The cake was perfect. So delicious!

Her designs are fabulous and there were lots to choose from. Laura's cake are not only designed incredibly well but her cake taste absolutely delicious too! I still miss our cake.

S. H.We booked Laura for our wedding cake, and from the first consultation, where she helped us with ideas, and samples of different flavours, we had total confidence in her. Communication was great, and she worked with us to create exactly what we were looking for, giving us advice when we needed it and helping us imagine the finished cake. The finished thing blew us away! It tasted unreal (choc was a personal fave!), and all the guests were so impressed, we could not recommend more. I will say this, you 100% get what you pay for. You will not be disappointed.
Working with Laura was so easy, she kept in touch, was always really friendly and professional, obviously has a lot of passion and made us feel really important and that she cared about our day, even though I’m sure she’s incredibly busy! Huge thank you from both of us, we know where to come from now on!

Her cakes are gorgeously moist even after a week! I'm typically not a cake eater, but Laura could definitely turn me into one! My mother was lost for words when she saw her birthday cake; quite simply she hadn't seen a cake like it before. She was blown away (as we all were)! Not only did it look superb (not just the cake itself but the fresh flowers used as decoration) - it tasted superb!! 😋 Laura's creativity and skill have to be seen - and tasted - to be believed.
I can honestly say that in her 95 years my mother has never had a cake like it - and she's had quite a few birthday cakes!! Laura literally supplied the "icing on the cake" for my mother's landmark birthday.
This was my first experience of Sweet Valentine Bakery ... it definitely won't be my last 🎂🍰

I gave an idea of what I’d like for my son’s birthday cake and explained his love for farm animals and above everything it needed to have a red barn. When I went to pick his cake up I felt quite emotional as it was more than I ever could of imagined and just absolutely gorgeous. Everyone commented on how amazing the cake looked & tasted, a friend even messaged me that night and said it was the best chocolate cake she’d ever had.. and she wasn’t wrong! Delicious! E. L.We had our cake tasting with Laura last week and it was absolutely amazing! I am gluten intolerant and it can be difficult to find gluten free products that are as good as "normal" but this was definitely not the case here! There were beautiful samples to taste all with homemade fillings, the lemon was my favourite and salted caramel was my hubby to be's favourite. Laura is really knowledgeable and provided ideas for our cake and cupcakes which was super helpful. The whole experience was wonderful, we can't wait to see our cake at our wedding next year!

The sponge is stunning and so soft with the decoration and icing it was beautiful and just the right quantity. We know Laura does more treats and having the luxury of living local we are in the best position for additional orders.
