Great Cappuccinos and foods
Delicious Cakes.
Good food
Friendly staff and quite attentive.
As a lover of cakes my husband couldn't resist any longer to get in the Bells Tea Shop to enjoy their cakes and yes it is worth to try it.
Lovely and cosy little place, very well maintained. Good atmosphere.
Definitely recommend.

Absolutely loved this tea room. Great location near the top of Steep Hill, very hospitable staff. The food was absolutely wonderful, large portions and well-priced. I had a Lincolnshire sausage bap, my partner a brie panini, whilst we shared some Lincolnshire plumbread. Unhurried service, with a welcoming hello and friendly goodbye. Will definitely come back again if in the area.

We came here for breakfast. Such a cute little place, very cosy and charming. Not that many options on the menu but perfect if you want a classical English breakfast or sandwiches.
They did have gluten free bread and a vegetarian option to the English breakfast.

They have cappuccino milkshakes! Really lovely staff here, and the food options are *really* good! I've uploaded a photo for reference. Excellent full English!

Very friendly staff. Dog friendly which is a big bonus. Not very accessible; a small lip to enter and then a step to the seating area. However, they were very accommodating in creating a 'parking space' for my wheelchair. Nice to have the option of loose leaf tea and thumbs up on sandwiches, pannini's & jacket potatoes.

Came to Bells today for my Parents 45th Wedding Anniversary. We all had Afternoon Tea which was absolutely delicious! Food lovely, great vegetarian options, friendly staff and beautiful setting x

The gluten free scones are really good! It is quite a small place so can be difficult to get a seat but you can always order takeaway!

Lovely traditional tea house/cafe in a beautiful building on Steep Hill and a stone's throw from the cathedral. Gorgeous cakes and tea selection, great for lunch or afternoon tea. A special thank you to the lovely team who were so kind and warmed us up with tea and cake on the house after we had stopped to help a passer-by who had fallen unwell outside on the street. A really kind thought - thank you so much.

Bells is my go-to for hungover Saturdays. You can usually find a table and prices are very reasonable given the location. Scones are fantastic. Coffee is decent. The full English comes with a generous number of accoutrements.
