P. H.Wow!! Alice made a raspberry and Madagascan vanilla sponge cake my sons first birthday and not only was it absolutely beautiful to look at it tasted incredible. Soft sponge, gooey icing and not to sickly sweet. It was light and still tasted perfect 2 days later. I highly recommend Lovely buns. Alice was easy to work with and understood my vision for the decoration completely. The best vegan cakes I’ve tried in London. Thank you Alice x
F. M.Order everything Alice makes! We had the cinnamon + pecan buns delivered and they were so good we were didn't speak until every crumb had been devoured. Portion size was big enough to last two people for three days. Price is fair for the quality of buns, the deliciousness and always friendly customer service. Next up the peanut butter cookies!
O. C.Absolutely fantastic local bakery. The chai praline hazelnut cake is one of the best cakes I’ve ever had - perfect balance of flavours between the sweet praline and spiced buttercream, and super moist. It was such a hit for our birthday celebration and so beautifully decorated, too! I asked Alice to decorate it with red and white for England’s football match and she did such a wonderful job. Definitely get your next cake here! The cookies are also heavenly.
D. D.We have been long term fans of Alice's cookies (you should buy some) and had also had a delicious birthday cake from her before and so she was an obvious candidate when we wanted someone to make a 100 person cake for our civil partnership celebration.
Alice was fantastic. Even with some pandemic postponements thrown into the mix she was so nice and always so easy to work with. Listened to exactly what we wanted, provided amazing samples for us to choose our final flavours and then created a stunning cake for the day.
All the feedback from guests was great and we enjoyed every bite. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend to anyone looking for a cake for any occassion. Support independent businesses!
M. B.The cinnamon pecan buns were DIVINE, like, next-level good. The cookies were brilliant. And best of all, I placed an order for a friend's birthday and it was going to arrive the day after her actual birthday but Alice very kindly rushed the order out and made it happen on her actual b'day. It was SO kind and made it so special. Alice is a real life-saver and she has a magic touch in the kitchen as well. Highly recommend and will certainly be back for more!
K.Alice makes the most delicious cookies and cakes - I came across her stall at a Christmas market in 2019 (?) and since then have ordered cookies and buns by post, and have booked her to do my wedding cake this summer. The best bakes, really great flavours (recommend tea and jam cake and classic chocolate chip cookies!), friendly service, and all vegan as well. Such good quality treats - really worth the money. Can't ask for more!

I've bought for corporate events, to send to friends... and as a treat to myself too!! Quality is always amazing and Alice will help with any random requests, making sure delivery is on time, on point, and top quality.

J. W.Wooooooow mommaaa. These are the best cookies ive ever had. You cant even tell they are vegan they are so good. I also ordered the Cinnamon Buns for Mothers day and they were the perfect gift. So lovely to share with the family but could also eat them all to myself!! I will be ordering again and again and again!!
K. A.No matter what you order from Lovely Buns - cookies, cinnamon buns or one of Alice's BEAUTIFUL celebration cakes - you're in for an absolute treat! The textures & flavours of every bake are always bang on, and the cookies are one of my favourite things in the whole world! They're postable boxes are my go-to gift for family & friends (and without fail I'll always get a text telling me how incredible they were and how they've ordered their own boxes for friends/family/themselves)! The only negative is that after trying anything from Lovely Buns, every other cookie or slice of cake you ever eat will suddenly seem rubbish in comparison!
