A fantastic bakery. Great staff - so friendly. The croissant was flakey and buttery, the cookie vanilla-y and crumbly, and the cinnamon bun was tender and sweet. Overall a great experience - I just wish I didn't live so far away from it!

Tiny place but the staff seem nice and hard working.
Went in for a vegan pastry but they sold out 😭 so tried the choc almond biscuit/cake thing which at 3.50 I thought was a little expensive but I got half way through it and was more than satisfied! Got to save the rest for later too! Very crispy and soft/gooey at the same time with subtle orange notes, chunky textured almond bits and of course v chocolate-ey.
It was very greasy, but that led to it being more indulgent, definitely not an everyday treat.
If I lived locally I’d come for the bread.
Thanks!

Delicious almond croissant and oat latte! Good selection of products and friendly staff. One of my London favorites

Jackie always welcomes us with a smile. Simply some of the best pastry's in London! The sausage rolls sell out instantly for a reason but don't worry if they're all gone there's still plenty of delights available ! A particular favourite of mine is the Jerk chicken rolls or the fantastically sticky, sweet, and soft cinnamon rolls!

Lovely place for little treats and coffee. The sugar buns and brioche pastry were tasty, will return for more.

I stopped by here because I was craving a coffee and something sweet. Best decision! Staff are super friendly and helpful, great service. Given the current climate, appropriate measures are in place for a safe visit. Cinnamon buns are so big they'll fill you up. But let me say that the flavours are spot on, and the texture of the bun is so, so soft. Go if you haven't already.

OMG, are you kidding me? why haven't I been here before. Goodbye Gails on Abbeville! bought two baguettes to rival anything in Paris (I'm being serious, and trust me I know bread). Devoured one of their flapjacks as soon as I walked out and almost passed out from the intense buttery pleasure. Place has a great vibe and the staff super nice, super welcoming, super non-chain. It's all about identifying the best local businesses and supporting them. Drop whatever you are doing and immediately locate this place and carb out. You will not regret it.

A really nice new bakery on Acre Lane, Brixton. I usually go here to get a nice lof of sourdough or Aires baguettes which are both amazing. They have a good selection of pastries and sweet treats. I'm not normally tempted by such treats but sometimes I can't help myself. Everything I have tried has been wonderful.

We've found this bakery by accident during one of our lockdown walks, and now it has become a destination for our daily shopping. They sell incredible bread, the pastries are out of this world, definitely the best in London, no exaggerations!! And the staff is just amazing, friendly, happy, helpful, it's a joy to go there. I've worked in bakeries and patisseries before and I can't recommend this place enough! Try their chocolate and almond croissant, or the cinnamon bun, or anything that catches your attention - the place is small so products are baked one at the time, always fresh and above all, warm! Top top top!!

First time I bought an almond croissant it wasn’t cooked through and was gooey in the middle, but they’d just taken them from the oven so I thought maybe they’d mistimed it. Then I got another a few weeks late and it was the same, though had been out a while so was cool with the same gooey center.
I also got a sourdough loaf and it was just okay, though I enjoyed it so little I didn’t even finish it before throwing it out. Other friends rave about it so I’d definitely need to try another to properly decide.
The staff are very friendly, and it’s a nice vibe so I definitely don’t think it’s awful and I will give it another go, I’ve just been disappointed with the items I’ve tried.
