Reviews of Beigel Shop
L. A.
This is a classic London shop that has been serving the Brick Lane community for many years. The staff are really friendly, funny and knowledgeable about the local area and places to visit. The food was first rate and really reasonably priced. In my opinion this is a “must visit” venue on the way to Spittlefield Market. The best thing it is open 24/7, 365 days a year! Simply amazing place.

Traditional bagels are nice, I'd recommend the cream cheese filling over any other ones. Unfortunate that they only had plain beigels left when we arrived. Shop could be a little cleaner inside.

The difference between the Yellow Beigel shop and next door are:
① This one established at 1855, which is over a century older.
② This one sales bacon, which means it's not a kosher place.
③ This one add gherkin to salt beef beigel is 30p
④ This one has a lot of colourful cakes.
⑤ This one's salt beef has thinner slice, which is slightly dryer.

Great salt beef bagels.
They butter them which the other one doesn't and the bagels seem thinner.
Overall tasty but they are both very different.

Tasty salt beef bagel and smoked salmon and cream cheese bagel. Friendly, reasonable price. Big queues.

Best Beigel shop ever! The salt beef bagel is the best thing you will ever eat! They don't scrimp on the beef and it's incredibly tasty and only a fiver. Honestly, if you only take one recommendation for London, take this one.

Think the beigels are better than next door, but beigel bake does better salt beef. Either way no trip to brick lane is complete without a stop at the two beigel shops!

Bagel itself is nice & fluffy
Salt beefs a little dry
Overall decent. Wouldn’t be cartwheeling down the road after it

First time visit after a 40 year gap. Lovely food and vintage appearance
