Joanna @ Cake Magic UK made our wedding cake in October 2021 (Pembroke Lodge). We were delighted with the results! Jonna made a stunning centrepiece for our day. So many guests were raving about the flavours and beautiful icing (and that sponge!) - it was such an elegant piece and absolutely delicious. Joanna made us 2 wedding cakes, one 2 tier for our ceremony during lockdown and a 3 tier for our big party a year later. Every single guest raved about how incredible the cakes were! I’d highly recommend Joanna, she was so kind and listened to what we wanted and also made some suggestions (which we’re very glad we took on!). A personal favourite flavour is the lemon with passion fruit curd (which Joanna makes herself). Such beautiful cakes, both in how they look and how they taste! I know we’ll always go to Joanna should we ever need cakes in the future - she really is exceptional!

My husband and I got married last month we were so happy to have worked with Joanna! She made us such a gorgeous wedding cake, which did not only look fabolous but also tasted really great! She always made time for us to consult whenever we needed, she made a special design for our cake cake as we really wanted deer antlers on it. It was beautifully decorated. We had different flavours on each tier and they were all so delicious! Very glad we ordered a bigger cake then needed because our guests were going for more after the first slice! Joanna made a 3 tier semi naked red velvet cake with for my daughters wedding. She was extremely responsive in her communications from beginning to end and the cake was stunning-exactly as my daughter requested. Joanna organised the flowers to decorate the cake and they were perfect pale pink roses and with foliage encircling each tier. The delivery and set up was all organised perfectly and we were given helpful instructions on care of the cake on the day and cutting instructions. The cake was delicious and very popular with the guests. She is very professional and you will not be disappointed. I have no hesitation in recommending her.

Joanna did my wedding cake around a month ago and produced the most beautiful cake! She also did my engagement cake the year before that. Joanna offered the most amazing service. Our cake was both delicious and beautiful! The whole experience was wonderful. We enjoyed a cake tasting and designing service. Throughout the entire time Joanna went above and beyond. Reaching out to our florist to match the exact flowers in my bouquet for the sugar work. Jo is an artist! She has done all of our birthday cakes for the last 6 years abs each one has been a piece of artistry. The craftsmanship she puts in and the attention to detail is second to none. One of the cakes we ordered was a an under the sea theme- it was magnificent- even the bubbles from the scuba diver were fashioned beautifully by her. On top of the aesthetics, Jo’s recipes are divine. We always go for the chocolate cake, and every year our guests ask where the cakes are from. She is a pleasure to deal with. I couldn’t recommend more.

I'm currently planning my wedding and trying to find someone to make my wedding cake. I recently got in touch with Jo who is unfortunately fully booked, but despite not being able to make my wedding cake, Jo has literally gone above and beyond and out of her way to try and help me find another bakery! Joanna is world class! If you are looking for a cake designer for your wedding, choose her! She was so helpful and friendly and knowledgeable about what needed to happen and she honestly made our dream cake come true, which was amazing especially as at the beginning we had no idea what we wanted or the options. Her prices are extremely reasonable and she has so many good flavours. Loved her Victoria sponge with a twist, and so did all my guests! There was no top part too save as everyone ate it all! Always a good sign. Definitely made our wedding and the whole experience more magical and easier :)

Joanna at Cake Magic certainly baked her special edible magic for our wedding day with the most beautiful and delicious cake I have ever seen or eaten. I cannot recommend Joanna highly enough! She is wonderful! My husband and I went to see Joanna about making our wedding cake and loved the whole experience - a lovely discussion about different cake possibilities that would suit us and be personal to us, and the cake we were given to taste was fantastic! We had to have Joanna make our wedding cake. The cake she made was absolutely stunning - the sugar flowers looked real (our guests couldn't believe it when I told them they were made out of sugar), and the lemon-flavoured cake was absolute heaven. The cake was one of the things our guests were raving about ages after the wedding (we also had a chocolate layer that got eaten by all our guests so quickly that we never managed to have a piece!)! Throughout the whole process before the wedding, Joanna was friendly, helpful, personal and wanted us to have exactly what we wanted. The cake was delivered to us on the day in perfect condition, with instructions on how to care for the cake and flowers. The price of the cake was excellent too - very reasonable and worth every penny, with the best quality ingredients. I would recommend Joanna to everyone wanting a delicious, stunning cake (much much better than anything that you would buy in a shop), with a wonderful, personal and friendly service.

My wife and I had our wedding on the 10th of Oct 2020. We struggled to find the perfect cake for the longest time despite assuming that it would be the simplest of choices. With a week left for the wedding and no cake yet we finally found Jo's Cake Magic, UK through a common contact. We decided to trust Jo's expertise and handed her the reigns of the cake wholeheartedly. We are so pleased to say the cake was nothing short of spectacular. It wasn't sickly sweet as so many cakes tend to be. It was perfect in every way. It was a 7" cookies 'n cream sponge cake filled with cookies 'n cream buttercream, covered in vanilla italian meringue buttercream with flecks of gold and decorated with choice flowers. Jo also made the effort to bring it to the venue in person in pristine condition. It was absolutely regal to look at that it tore our heart to cut into it. But it was all worth it. Our guests could not get enough of the cake. 12 people went through 75% of the cake in a span of a single hour. The wonderful Joanna at Cake Magic UK made our cake for our wedding in May 2013. Joanna was amazing from start to finish, when we met her for our consultation we knew straight away she was the person we wanted to make our cake - she really "got" what we wanted to achieve, and was excited to try something new to make our ideas a reality, We tasted some of her cakes and were absolutely blown away. The service up to our big day was exemplary, both professional and friendly. And on our big day the cake exceeded our expectations, tasting amazing, beautifully decorated, and we had so many compliments on it on the day. Also, we were very impressed how well it kept after the event! We left some in the fridge for our return from 3 weeks honeymoon and it was still perfect, and froze another batch (the last piece of which we had at Christmas - 7 months after the wedding, and it still tasted almost as good as on our wedding day!). I have absolutely no reservations in recommending Joanna and Cake Magic UK - someone who will go the extra mile and make sure you get the cake of your dreams.
