I would highly recommend this bakery! My boyfriend and I stayed around the area this last month, and we were absolutely obsessed with their rugelachs! They come in chocolate, vanilla, cinnamon and they are all to die for. They also make a great Babka. This bakery gets you in and out, and always has what you’re looking for. This place is worth your time!! ☺️

Found this while walking in the area today. The smell once you walk in is amazing and the selection is highly tempting as well. We got many cakes and other and it was all 14 pounds. The price seems very low yet the quality very high. All tasted nice.

Grumpy. That's it, but considering some of their customers feel its necessary to be eyewateringly obnoxious I can understand. I'm an employer, and it's usually the case that staff who feel valued, both personally and financially perform better. See my comments on the Ritz elsewhere. There's no comparison here. If you are into chocolate cake however, this is The Place. Sharpen up the act, be brave and tell some of your customers to go to lessons in manners, look after the workforce (they are not commodities to enhance profit) and ill give more stars....

I have been coming here since it first opened in the late 80s, my favourite bagels since childhood. The rye loaves are also delicious. Can't comment on the cakes or any of the sweet items but they look amazing.

It is ok. Do not expect too much. Fresh but mediocre taste bakery. Only the cookies remind me good old pastry man's works 👍🏽 However, the grey haired tall guy is so rude. Beware of him: he can scold you if you dare to ask him about the bagels!

One of the best bakeries in London. Baking traditional pastries, breads and cakes and doing it so well that it's an event to visit. The quality is superb as it has been for decades - there's not a lot to say when it's this good.

If you are looking to try Jewish bread, cakes and pastries, then this is the bakery to visit. It has a wide variety of merchandise, with friendly helpful staff, always ready to help. The only downside is parking, which is not only paid parking spaces, but are also very limited. However there are good public transport links, a number of bus routes stop outside the bakery

Today at 6am I've tried a tastiest croissant I've ever had. Together with lovely latte it made my morning. You couldn't ever expect any place being open at 6am, this one is, and smell of freshly baked pastry is all over the street. I would probably grow very fat if I'd live near by. The bagels are topnotch. Chollas are the more dry variety so if you like them more eggy and sweet, perhaps try elsewhere. Other pastries are okay. The cheese cake is excellent, hence making it to 4 stars

This bakery goes back to my uni days. It was nearby and being a student with tons of literary books to flick through each week, I was going to the shops quite a lot. Me being hungry all the time, I soon found that local bakeries including Greek and Turkish Cypriot ones and cafés where you can get home styled klefticos etc, were right up my street. At 25p (at the time) for small and filling cakes and pastries not to mention the potato borekas, I found I could get some cakes and savoury pastries to last me 2 days. The service is good. There's sometimes a queue but it's all good when excellent quality pastry can be bought at a low price. I like the small plum and peach Danish pastries; chocolate topping shortcakes; shortcakes with chocolate swirls and cheesecake. If the cheesecake is fine, you're good to go.

I absolutely love this place, and always make it a point to stop by anytime I'm in Golders Green. The staff is so helpful - whether it's patiently explaining what things are to me, or helping me figure out a gift for someone, they really do go above and beyond (even if the store is crowded). Chocolate Rugelach. I dare you to pronounce that correctly. The Rugelach part, not chocolate... although some may struggle. These are the twisted pastry delights of the heaven gods 🤤 Unfortunately they’re not vegan 😥 Mainly I like to just go in and stare at them until I'm served, or occasionally just stare at them until it closes. Or I'm kicked out. This can be one and the same. Now the main event. Bagels / Beigals... you say potato 🥔 I say... potato. That doesn't work when written down. You've just said the word potato in the same way twice. Anyway, these holed bready delights (not to be confused with polos - they're mints not bread) are simply joyous, especially if you time it right and get there just as a batch is being pulled from the ovens.
