Delicious sweets. We tried the 2 kunafas one with cheese cream and one with pistachios. And the pistachio baklava. Both were equally good. Good service and reasonably priced too.

This is my favourite arabic sweet place. What a gem, this small bakery has a good selection and everything is made fresh on that day so once it's gone it's gone. The staff are really friendly, it's reasonably priced and can come by fresh pomegranate juice too. Thank you Diwan Damas

Absolutely best sweets of this kind in UK! Have tasted lots of these sweets in different countries, including exclusive ones in Turkey. It is in par with the best of them in this shop. We're occasionally considering trip to London with a primary reason to get these sweets and that in itself is a highest praise I could possibly give.

This is by far my favourite Arabic dessert place. They literally cook it fresh and once it’s gone it’s gone, you will have to come back next day for the next FRESH batch. They sell like hot cakes here for a reason. The quality, hygiene and friendly staff are what makes this place. They are not expensive at all if you take into consideration the quality & freshness you are paying for. Absolutely a hidden gem in the streets of London.

I love this place so much. The pastries are so good, so fresh. Not cheap, but worth every penny. I come here for special treats as it’s not anywhere near where I live, but it is worth the journey. The gentlemen who work there are always friendly and patient. I always get a bit excited and order too much, but it just tastes so good. By the way, I saw another review here about their ice cream, criticising its texture, what the reviewer must not have realised is that this place does mastic ice cream - the only place in London which does this (I think). This is a speciality ice cream and they make it so well. Some people don’t like the taste of mastic - to those people I say ask for a sample (they’ll give you one) before trying. Personally I love the taste of mastic and their mastic ice cream is the best I’ve ever tasted.

The place wasn't busy when I stopped by. But I found the service to be a bit...well, perhaps it's a cultural thing, but the service was slow and impersonal. I was the only customer in the store, but the server kept chatting with his friend (my assumption) while slowly serving me. However, the ice cream I got was very good. A nice, sharp lemon flavor. And they accept card payments without complaint, which can be rare. The price was also pretty reasonable, and I'd love to go back for some pastry sometime. The store is small and not designed for eat-in, which is fine, since it's mostly pastry and ice cream. All easy to take on the go. And if you really like the ice cream, I believe they'll sell you a tub as well - but don't hold me to that. So, just go with the understanding that the service may not be the best, and you'll likely have no issues. The food is quality. The location is pretty convenient, and all in all, I have no complaints.

Such a wonderful little shop. Flights cancelled, stuck in London for the night, decided to stroll around. Delighted i stumbled upon this store (with the help of google..). I couldn't decide between the delicious looking cakes/pastry bites and hadn't tried them before. They kindly made me up a sample plate. I couldn't leave without a scoop of icecream. Yum!!! So smooth. Exceptional food and some of the most authentic Middle Eastern cuisine you can find. The deserts are second to none as the baclava is very fresh. The most novel selling point however that makes this place stand out is the ice cream. Definitely something worth going on a pilgrimage for as it is the only place in town serving real Syrian ice cream with a uniquely elastic texture that serves to further enhance the flavour. Please do give this novel gem a visit as it does not receive the appreciation it definitely deserves.
