Got a last minute cake from them for my hubs and it was absolutely delicious!! It tasted proper !! Fresh and creamy and every bite was delightful my kids devoured it with their dad !! It was ready made, just sitting on the show case stand waiting for me and the lovely lady told me it was made that following day too. So I was extremely happy that I had a fresh cake to take home even though I didn’t have time to order a cake much earlier. Really happy with my experience from cakebox east India dock. Will be going there again. Thanks guys :D

We always get our cakes for birthdays from here and sometimes for other occasions. The cakes taste good and fresh however sometimes the cake can be too creamy with less cake. Customer service is nice and friendly.

We where looking for somewhere that sold cakes and was looking for a local one which we could pickup and found this... The location was good, seeing there's All Saints DLR within walking distance and local bus stops too. The place itself was fine, sold cakes you can purchase there and then, you can also book them via their website. The staff were nice, ready at hand when we went to pickup our order. Good experience.

We shop here frequently and I cannot recommend this place enough. Everything is very reasonably priced and not too sweet, like it is in most places. All cakes and cupcakes are super moist and tasty, made fresh every day. And the cupcakes are much better than Lola's cupcakes, at a fraction of the price. Highly recommend!

Excellent service! Had to get a last minute cake for my grandma and I was very specific with what I wanted and the colours. I didn’t think It was possible to make it. However this branch was able to make it even thought it was a bit of a stretch but they were able to make it with in an hour, no faults, looks absolutely amazing couldn’t have been any happier with the product! It was so fluffy and fresh, and not dry or stale like i've read in other reviews. Customer service was the best I have ever had within cakebox! Very polite, efficient and most of all had a welcoming smile. The lady made sure I had everything I needed and made sure I was set to make my nans birthday perfect! Absolutely loved here and would come back for definite!

Recently bought a cake from here for my friends birthday and cannot fault it one bit! The victoria sponge cake with chocolate cream tastes amazing and would definitely recommend this flavour to anyone looking for something chocolatey but not too sickly. I also was very surprised with how nice the writing is in this store. I am so pleased with my choice as the lady who served me was very helpful and was the one who recommended this cake and design. Will be back for my next occasion!

Whole fluffy sponge cakes pre-made in either vanilla or chocolate sponge with cream and basic decorations in various sizes, and it's great that you can walk in store and get a message written on the cake on the day. I like the vanilla sponge cake with jam/cream which is delicious! They also have small individual cakes in other various flavours, such as black forest.

Needed a last minute cake as my cake that I had ordered elsewhere had been ruined. The staff here were so helpful and did the best they could to make something similar to what I wanted in such short notice. They even helped me put the cake in the car as it was so big and the best part is the cake was amazing. Everyone loved it :)

The lady recommended a chocolate sponge for my son and we usually aren’t big fans of too much chocolate but these cakes are irresistible! You just want to keep eating it! They did an amazing job on making the cake and it came out lovely 👌🏼

Best cupcakes ever!! I highly recommend the red velvet but all I tried so far are amazing. The prices are fair and are pretty typical of what you would pay for cupcakes at a bakery. I would also give 5 stars for my customer service experience.

I previously had a wedding cake made, which was an absolute disaster However I spoke with the manager of poplar Cake box and he was very understanding. For my next occasion he organised a Birthday cake to be made which was received positively. Thank you so much to the manager who actually took time to listen to a customer and make up for the error made by staff at cake box. His willingness to do this shows how much he cares for his shop and representing cake box amazing I give him so much credit and he had great customer service.

The cakes are great, very creamy ad the designs were all great but if you were to order here and had it delivered, it could be mishandled so I recommend you pick up the cake directly from the store.
