Reviews of GAIL's Bakery Brook Green

Went to this gails on my way to the wetland center and very pleased with the visit :)!! Lots of savoury options and very lovely variety of sweet items as well. The interior of this cafe was very nice and very spacious! Had to take it to go but would have loved to stay! Their sausage roll was amazing as usual and very lovely customer service as well :)

Some of the best pastries I've ever had, I understand why it's so busy during the morning rush, great for grabbing a morning snack. I'd recommend mid week mid day if you intend on sitting in. Lovely, not cheap.
S. C.
Nice place, and nice selection of bread. But the chicken rolls we had weren't very nice and they wouldn't heat them up for us, something to do with Covid?!
£21 for two rolls and two orange juices!
A.
It was the most delicious avocado toast so far.

In the summer I gave a rating of five stars. Today I can honestly only give a Three star rating. Outside tables were filthy. Although eating onsite food was served in disposable cups and food in takeaway bags... I look forward to seeing an improved service very soon...

Really good pastries!! Really good… 🙌🙌Great variety, from almond croissants, to chicken chestnut pies, and cheddar scones, Sourdough bread is one of the best! A bit overpriced, but really good quality. Coffee can be hit and miss, depending on how busy it gets.

So glad to see the new Gail's open and ready as it's long awaited. The shop is well stocked and presented with all the best bits of Gail's. The service was warm and friendly as expected. The food tasted fresh which is important and overall a nice place to grab a coffee and pastry

Was there visiting a friend and I felt hungry.
I saw this place on my way back to the station and I stopped.
Nice place lovely service. Spacious and very rustic.
The coffee is good could be better. They have a big variety of sweets and sandwiches.
Prices were ok competitive with the market

I love this place, friendly staff and it has it all. The ambiance, interior designs, good coffee, tasty foods. The wi-fi connection needs to be better as it’s too poor
P. N.
I understand there is considerably inflation in food and hospitality, and indeed Gail’s chairman has given his perspective on Sky News’ Ian King Live. However, the substantial price increases don’t make Gail’s a viable option anymore. The sausage rolls have now risen to £3.80 from £3.30 about three years ago, more than a 6 percent year on year increase. The quality of the product also doesn’t justify the price point, M and S and World Food etc do better products.

We didn't ate bad but we didn't eat gret. The water had a strange flavour and the cheese was not Great either. The sausage roll was delicious and the desserts too

I love everything I try at Gail's! The cookies, brownies, rolls, are all divine! My favourite HAS to be the cheese twists - so crunchy 🤤 so cheesy 😍 so delicious 👌🏼 I go there and come out, with a bag full of goodies for my family! You can find something in there for anyone, with a sweet or savory tooth ☺️👍🏼

Friendly, smiley and accomodating staff. Most treats, snacks and delights are often neatly stocked and fresh every time I visit - hard to fault or complain about anything to date as Gail's are one of my favourite bakery chains.

Its sad to see the previous establishment closed down to be replaced by gail. The food at gail was ok. it can be very busy at after 10 am and noisy too! Breakfast selection was ok. We also came here after 1 pm, very2 busy. cakes were average.
A. L. P. (.
Delicious! They have all kinds of treats and bakery good. Coffee, tea, pancakes and more. I would definitely come back whenever I get back in time. The staff is also very friendly and patient. I highly recommend this little bakery!

Gail's Bakery Offers variety of options to pick from in terms of pastries, sandwiches and drinks both hot and cold. I love their cinnamon bun and pain au Chocolat. The staff is polite and welcoming too. Once fully opened, please try breakfast items that they do.

The spinach, egg soufflé and cheddar slider is one of the tastiest things I have ever eaten - bar none! Lovely staff, great coffee! What’s not to love ❤️
E. B.
Great croissant 9/10!! Continue to bake them in store instead of a central kitchen - lots better, would stop by more often. Tried to make this suggestion directly but your 'contact us' form isn't working. Coffee could be stronger. Bit overpriced for 'community baker' as stated.
M. Z.
The employees are really nice, the food is really good but the chooce too wide😅
B. D.
Pastries were very good. I do prefer a croissant with more crisp of the outside. But that's me. Very busy. Line out the door. Staff were a little frenetic and rushed. I'll be back to try all the breads.
J. T.
Gail's, the most welcome addition to the neighborhood! The prettiest and yummiest spread of pastries - sweet and savoury - and sandwiches and salads. When I have more time, I love ordering off their menu (sweetcorn fritters are my fave). Coffees, hot chocolates, teas, etc. all great, and in a buzzy cafe atmosphere. Lovely staff, too.
S. B.
My favorite bread and lovely staff. Good quality at reasonable price. In particular during covid, they've made my weeks better with my Friday morning Soy Chai and strong ginger shot for a health kick. Appreciate them selling whilst supermarkets have been so busy- necessities like flour and oats and the home made jam looks delicious.
O. B.
Love Gails bakeries! Their carrot cake is my favourite.
Good food selection and great customer service.
Their bread is also really good and they have a lot of selection (maybe a little bit pricey)
R. C.
Fabulous, coffee and eats were delicious, worth going back there
J.
I think Gail’s is great for a quick snack or take away but we’ve never had a good experience eating in. There is always a very long wait to get your food though it is readily available on the counter and all they need to do is put it on a plate. On more than one occasion they ran out of what we wanted despite there being plenty when we ordered!
M.
Few options but they all taste great 👍
C. M.
Tried the new hot chocolate and not worth it. I'd say it's too small for that price (looks like a babyccino)so rather would try somewhere else.

Gails bread is def the best in London. Gails bakery is the place you can not only get your beautiful loaves bit also have a coffee and a cake. Plenty of space and relatively calm place. I really like this new addition to Brook green area.
L. V.
Another good branch of the reliable chain. Gail's is consistent and the same old quality is here too. This shop is a bit bigger than the average Gail's, which is good because you find seats even on weekend mornings.
A. S.
Always superb the best bread rolls & anything what we eat the best bakers in Lo don head to head with Harvey Nicols
S. L.
First coffee I've had since lockdown and it didn't disappoint. Lovely, friendly ladies working in there today too. Top marks!

Fantastic cafe with delicious bread, cakes and other food. The drinks are also very good, including tea, coffee, flavoured water, juice and hot chocolate. Nice location too!

What a fabulous Gail’s! Always great service from the lovely Amaury & lots of seating with wonderful decor. The cake is 10 out of 10. A truly lovely spot in west London!
I. M.
Over priced yet rather nice
S. H.
Lovely but often annoyingly has most tables taken up by individuals on laptops. Worse than usual cafes! Great menu and good staff, though.
J. R.
Lovely food and great staff. First time in my live that the person that brings the cutlery for you makes sure that the napkin is placed on the table first!
D. H.
Very good. They serve arabica coffee too.
D. W.
Great selection of baked goods and sweets. Friendly staff serving tasty coffee.
A. W.
It was nice food and coffee but when I asked for ketchup for my bacon roll I was told "we don't do ketchup" as if it was a disgusting request , felt a bit pretentious
M. N.
As there aren't great coffee shops nearby this is now my favourite for relaxing. Try cheesecake and carrot cake. Also some good healthy food options.

Went there for a job assessment. Never been to Gails. Very nice there. Staff polite and helpful. Noce place to have a tea, coffee or something to eat
G. L.
Excellent customer service, staff is really helpful and friendly
E. T.
Amazing produce. Friendly service. I will return. I recommend you visit this place and try some bread. Go beyond what you'd normally choose.
W. M.
Amazing baked goods, from cakes to croissants to loaves etc, but the coffee is weak and needs work.
M. C.
Best almond croissants, cinnamon buns and waste-less sourdough. I love this place ❤️
J. N.

Very friendly staff and a lovely cup of coffee!

Cakes are very yum. Love the classes they run downstairs.
C. B.
Staff was Amazing very good service.
A.
The staff said thy bake every thing from scratch so the question is how can you do all that with one chef in the kitchen?
M. T.
Food was very nice but service could be improved !
V. F. T.
So far so good... Good competition to Paul which on the other hand has lost its mojo...
