I stopped there on my way because it looked like a really nice bakery. I asked for recommendation, and I got the one that he suggested and it was yum! (3.5 pounds) Everything looked so nice and it seemed like they are always busy.

YUM YUM AND YUM. Had to stop myself to get a picture.😊 ⭐️A must visit⭐️ Very well located, you can find 3-4 bus stops. Located by The Ivy Asia in Chelsea (restaurant with green and red canapes); has limited seating but is very accessible. Staff was delightful, attentive and very caring. There is a great variety of sweet, savoury and classic items such as croissants, quiche(picture on display) and tarts. Prices are reasonable, but for money savers there’s a local off license by a bus stop about 2 minutes walk and a few other small shops. Gail’s bakery has many sites located all across London with yummy treats and a relaxed environment for students, a quick breakfast or some laptop work. Will visit a closer branch to me soon. 😊

As a fans of bread, it attracted my eyeball when I passed by and I decided to try it. They provide so diverse bread and sandwiches, sweet or salty one, with fruits or with meat, good stuff! And the price is reasonable. What's more, the dining space is good vibe.

OMG amazing.... Staff are wonderful, deli/bakery food is simply delicious. Carrot cake is the best ever!! Coffee is so much nicer than the usual chain store shops. Small seating area and it gets very very busy but well worth the wait.

Butter! Butter! Butter! If I could not recommend anything, it would be only getting a buttery sandwich and not a buttery sweet bun too!

Great food and atmosphere, coffee was nice. Service was ok - the barista was absolutely lovely although the person serving was not in the best mood which was a bit of a downer to the experience but still enjoyed.

I never leave reviews, purely because I can’t be bothered, but this place? Maaaate, if you’re in the area looking for lunch, go grab lunch. If you want a snack, go grab a snack. It’ll probably be the best lunch/snack you’ve had in a long time. This is the first time I’ve walked into a bakery and wanted one of everything. Guy that served me was great. Some other reviews on her say that the staff are snobby, but I walked in with my painters shorts on and dust in my hair, and they were all fine! Said I was looking for lunch, and asked what he recommended, so I purchased the suggest Beef Soup and Brisket Brioche Bun, and oh my flipping days did it taste great. I’ll be back in tomorrow, and every other time I’m working in the area. “Bakery” is an understatement. Top notch restaurant.

I love cakes. ALOT and it takes a good cake or bun to get me all excited and wanting more. I've never been here before and heard all about GAILS. When I hear about Franchise names I question them quite hugely as standard may not always be the same from one to another I find , however having heard many only positive things about Gails, I decided to give them a shot. OH. EM. GEE. Their apple crumble cake muffin thing is OUT OF THIS WORLD. Possibly one of the most incredible apple crumble type baked goods I have EVER tried. And let's not forget everything else on their menu! If you are wanting a little treat on a lazy yet enjoyable day, get yourself in here. Thank you for existing Gails x

The staff here become full-on friends, even at the first visit. Helpful, smiling and truly enthusiasts about their work. The manager is especially energetic and vibrant with a real pleasure in her work and personality. The food is just utterly delicious. And it is genuinely THE best coffee. 6 stars.

Similar to Gail's Parsons Green, the King's Road shop sells their wonderful, bread, pastries, buns etc, along with great coffees. Problem is that the size of the establishment means you are likely not going to get a table if you want to have a coffee in. As the winter weather sets in this will become even worse. The place is sadly too small and cramped, which is a great pity, as has an excellent product.

A small shop well organised and clean. The Staff are very polite and helpful. A very good French brioche and French sourdough banquette properly cooked. You will have probably to wait a little bit but it will not cost you anything.

Love this shop, in particular the decaffeinated latte, scrambled egg and those lively, crispy, fruity and scrummie hot cross buns. Tiny bit cramped to move around in and as very popular often has a quque coming out the door. Service good, although sometimes bit if wait to clear orders for coffee, however staff always efficient and friendly. Some seating and toilets downstairs. Nice and clean and good selection to eat it buy. Would recommend.

The best iced coffee, and the best place to stop by for a quick breakfast on the way to work! The strawberry pots with amaretto cream is a 'healthy-ish' substitude for the delicious cheesecake they have on display. Their salads are healthy and filling, but a good portion. This place is quite expensive though but you really feel it the value that they provide. Service is friendly and efficient, with not too much cheer that it feels fake!

It's Gail's, what's not to love? You might as well have a "Chelsea Bun" while you're here, which is one of their specialties. It's also open particularly early, which is nice when you're in the neighborhood, or visiting patients at the nearby Royal Brompton Hospital.

Bakery heaven. I thought I was in paradise and was surrounded by cakes, croissants, savoury pieces, sausage rolls, spinach and feta rolls. Damn. They were tasty. I had two of them and I was screaming for more. Like literally screaming. I thought it was a dream and that I would wake up. Thank God it was real. Very, very, very highly recommended. There is paradise. It's called good food.
