Great bread, but got there a couple of minutes before closing on Saturday. Shelves loaded with bread, door open, but we were told they were closed. Hope all that bread didn't go to waste.

Small and cozy coffee shop with the usual quick bites to go with the drink... Haven't had any thing here except for their Latte.

Seatings are the back where they feel a bit cramped. Coffee is as good as expected from the chain but the shop seems to be missing something, a good vibe.

the breads are very good, but I miss genuine sourdough breads. long-fermented breads in a totally natural and manual process. but the service is amazing and the products are quality! worth the purchase and the time.

Nice seating area (indoors and outdoors) to enjoy your coffee (tasty espresso). Friendly staff. A bit pricey compared to the competition nearby. Variety of products and always fresh.

The pecan cinnamon cake is delightful. Not heavy nor is it too sweet. Perfect! The strudel on top strike's a balance.

Waited 45 min for breakfast as the staff forgot to bring our order from the kitchen albeit when I asked what's happening with our breakfast we were reassured "it's coming" without anyone even checking. My mushroom sandwich had everything falling off of it so it was really a case of eating the ingredients separately rather than combined, someone should probably tweak the menu to sort that out.

I thought it was just me but seems like the staff is really bad. Not friendly at all. After reading all the comments its very clear the staff at this place needs to improve there customer handling skills. Except the guy who makes coffee everyone has a very rude way of speaking plus not a friendly vibe at all. The food is really good. 2 stars taken away only for the staff. Been there 3-4 times now, everytime the same bad vibe and unfriendliness. I wont go back there even though the food is amazing.

Delicious cakes and great coffee alongside! Love bringing my son here as he laps up every bit of the delicious chocolate brownie and we enjoy the other freshly made cakes and desserts as well. Highly recommended!

Very kind staff, great food choice, good ambience, very good Cappuccino! Some friends of mine had chosen to meet up at a fast food place around the corner but I was very happy to have this place as a far better alternative. Will definitely visit again.

Classic Gail's, great for coffees and light snack. Breakfast options are simple and well prepared too. I frequently visit for meetings during the day but find it can be quite busy earlier in the morning.

First time I have been very disappointed with Gails . Popped in today. Young lady serving quite abrupt and not particularly courteous. More to the point i bought a cheese & chicken roll . Looked delicious but when I got home to enjoy I couldn't even bite into the chicken it was so dry and totally overcooked. Had to throw it away !

The people working in this Gail's make it. They're so friendly and smile all the time, it's refreshing. The cooked food is generally pretty good and their baked items are yummy.

Delicious food and friendly staff. My only gripe is that there aren't any coat hooks in the bathrooms. If I am wearing a coat and I go to the bathroom, where am I supposed to put my coat? I don't want to put it on the floor for obvious reasons.

Nice shop but their mixed olive sourdough stick is cheaper in Waitrose. Cost me 25p more (£3.20) versus £2.95. Won't make that mistake again.

Lovely bakery. Great assortment of tasty breads. A rare find for a German in the UK! Unfortunately, very limited gluten free choice.

Mainly come to get sour dough bread or plain croissants which are really good! However find the other products quite overpriced for what they’re worth and staff aren’t overly friendly.

Delicious sour dough and sausage rolls at this bakery. I have to try hard to avoid going to often.

I think the other comments are lying. Every time I go in here I get greeted immediately and served promptly. The staff is amazing and they just keep making my day! Nice!!
