Nothing less than stunning - this shop is beautiful. We have booked Gaya for a wedding cake and we came down to get some samples to taste. The shop is just gorgeous. The coffee was lovely and the cakes are the best cakes I have ever eaten. You couldn’t fault it. Gaya was so lovely and welcoming. I’m OVER THE MOON we have her booking for our wedding.

The best cupcakes I’ve ever had!!! Especially the tiramisu cupcake.

Gaya created the most stunning cake for our wedding in November. We found it extremely difficult when choosing the cake flavours as we loved them all so much (eventually went with chocolate and salted caramel and victoria sponge). The finished result was absolutely delicious - we can't recommend Gaya enough! Not only was the cake amazing, but working with Gaya was such a pleasure as she is so lovely and helpful. We continue to visit Gaya's cake shop for regular cake treats and she also made both our birthday cakes this year which were also 10/10!

Gaya has a smile that brightens up your day and bakes cakes that make you come back for more and more and more. I had the pleasure to hire Gaya to bake my wedding cake and every single guest loved every morsel. The buttercream finish was smooth and delicate. The floral decorations were a friendly collaboration with Blue Lavender in Barnes and the gold gilt a finishing touch. The two top tiers were a delicious lemon sponge and the humongous bottom tier a Victoria sponge. Bravo. Thank you very, very much. Enjoy the photos all. Really high quality products at the shop front and proper coffee. The cakes and petit fours are also made to incredibly high standards and taste great. Friendly service. Looking forward to visiting again and trying more treats.

A hidden gem in Putney. The BEST pastries and cakes in SW London by far. I’m a chef and find it so difficult to find quality homemade products, I often find cakes have a slight ‘bought’ taste to them but at Gayas they are exceptional and all made on the premises. The quality of ingredients used is 10/10 and you can taste the love and care that have gone into the products. If you’re going anywhere else in Putney for pastries or cakes, then make this your regular. Doesn’t even compare to the likes of Gail’s etc.

Hidden gem! They make their own freshly baked pastries in the morning which are superb (especially the almond ones), and if you turn up fairly soon after it opens they will still be warm from the oven. I’ve also had a few chocolate brownies from them which are top notch.
