The items I bought did taste good however the shop itself was a bit of a mess, items with no labels on what each item is or what it contains as well as no information on the price. How is someone meant to shop with no information on things like that? The shop was always busy so staff were always occupied and it was difficult to find all this information out. The management seems pretty unprofessional as well though as there was lots of arguing and shouting behind the counter amongst them. As a result, many of the staff also seemed tense by this which impacted the service they were giving.

Very good challah and bagels! Sometimes it is very crowded, but the staff is always friendly and takes care of you. The „to-go“ selection is amazing as well, 4 different kinds of bagels, hummus, salads, sandwiches etc. And the best part is that sometimes they give u a bagel or two for free at the end of the day if u order a large portion of them ;)! Would definitely recommend and can’t wait to get another bagel there.

I have only tried their chocolate and almond rugelach. I think they are really good. It's the best I have had but bear in mind I haven't been anywhere else!

I strongly recommend this local bakery if you are looking for freshly baked breads. I found the warm bread one morning and it was just lovely. Only one thing missing this shop, in my opinion, would be a bit of staff's smiling. The combination of current 5 star breads and future improved customer service would receive a five star from me. However I will go back this shop again.

Best bagels and challah in London. Bagels are squishy and fresh challah is tasty moist fresh and lasts really well - but usually gets eaten very quickly. The photo is challah from the sister shop in Temple Fortune Bread. Just as good. I challenge you to find me a better bagel than these.

Great bagels, but prices, as another reviewer has already mentioned, is like a draw, depending who is serving. Sunday in October I paid £0.65 per bagel. Last Sunday £0.85. I asked for price per bagel, so not just implied. So, it is a personal choice to accept it or go elsewhere – wish there will be a price list online and in the store.

Nice bakery, clean and delicious looking pastries. Coffee is prepared too hot, and they microwave their bagel sandwiches to warm then up before serving, which totally spoils the bagel's texture. Recommend asking the server to avoid those two mistakes when you go there.

One of the best bagels I've had in a while! I didn't even notice it was missing cream cheese it was so chewy and soft. A customer dropped an entire tray of mini bagels while walking out and the owner (I assume) had the platter remade on the house. Great customer service!

I rate 3. I have been buying at the bakery for over a year. Everything is delicious and fresh and I can really recommend this place. Another issue is about customer service. I currently buy early in the morning before work because I am well served. I used to go late in the afternoon or evening, but unfortunately the behavior of a lady about 60 in blond hair, wearing a black hat is not appropriate. She doesn't know the prices because bills are different every single time. Facial expressions, constant dissatisfaction and complaining about the employer with clients doesn't look good...

Great products especially the Rugelachs. One major gripe is nothing in the counter has price tags so one has no idea how much the total would come to... and every visit can appear to draw different prices, so it’s Bingo time during payment. If prices are published clearly by each product, I would give this bakery 5 stars.

I had a salmon and cheese bagel and it was good! Babka was good too although I wish they would make the cakes larger (considering the price is quite high).The main downside is that there are no prices displayed on any of the cakes so you have no idea how much you will pay until you are at the till.

We used to come for the bagels, they really are nice. The middle-aged lady at the till is decent, but the elderly woman (no lady) is shamelessly overcharging everyone while she seems like she’s about to beat customers with a stick when she serves them. A disgusted, bitter and unpleasant person, with such an unprofessional attitude... No prices displayed, no individual items priced on the bill, so all you get is a mysterious final amount and no ‘Thank you’. Whoever is in charge should realise #1 the elderly woman needs some customer service training really badly (it should be either that OR retirement) and #2 a respectable business does not keep prices secret!

Some seriously lovely confectionery items in this place. Bread of all sorts and some delicious Jewish breads - including that knotted sweet one. Quick service and reasonable prices too. The cappuccino was pretty decent too.

Down the same road as Middlesex University is a modern clean bakery taking up the frontage of the same size as three small shops. Always busy, but with a fast service due to the number of staff. My wife always wants to travel there ( a 20 minute drive ) to pick up their delicious bread, which has a long shelf life. The only downside is the limited parking, with a bank needed immediately outside the premises, but coins are accepted by machines further down the road.

Best challah in Hendon, good bagels and cakes too so 5* for food and hygiene. However the lack of a price list and a till experience with no itemisation whereby they basically tot up and say a number for you to pay leads to a two star mark-down. Please sort it out - it cant be so difficult.

Ok. Hands down Hendon Bagel Bakery makes the best bagels in London. I lived in West Hampstead where they have Ronnie’s, but this place is just a 5 star bagel joint. They also do fabulous fruit tarts, pastries and of course a fabulous Chollah bread. If you want great bagels look no further than HBB.

A busy, thriving bakery that sells all sorts of bread, bagels, biscuits and pastries. They make a lovely Challah. On Friday mornings, they are rammed pack with people buying their Challah bread. You might have to be patient! They have also make coffee and drinks onsite, so an ideal opportunity to sample their delights.

Probably the biggest bakery among them. Not only bagels, but also cakes, confectionery breads, and salmon are sold, giving you a sense of history. The usual sandwich with bagel and cheese cream sandwiched with salmon seems to be so delicious.
