Myself and my girlfriend went for an afternoon tea here at jack and beyond. Unfortunately, they had a slight mix up and the kitchen were not informed of our arrival, so they were not expecting us to turn up at all and nothing was prepared. This felt quite rubbish considering we had paid a large amount of money to try their tremendous cakes and savoury bites. HOWEVER, they were very apologetic and attentive from the start and more than made up for their large error. We ended up having some fantastic empanadas and the cake selection we had was also very lovely. It was nice knowing they make their cakes with minimal sugar in mind, and the taste of both the sweet and savoury was phenomenal. Their speciality lattes they have to offer were also delicious. Although it wasn’t what we planned, it was a fantastic experience and the only reason it’s not a 5 star rating, was because this wasn’t what we had booked for.

The cheese cake is the best I ever tasted! It's not very sweet like the other ones on the market, which it's a very good thing for all of us. My family & friends loved it! Personally not a huge fan of Red Velvet cake, but my daughter requested this for a birthday as she had had some before, and I have to say it was utterly delicious. Just the right level of sweet without the cloying taste I’ve had before with Red Velvet. The family all commented on how good it was. Highly recommended, and despite driving in from Hertfordshire to collect it, we will be back!

Amazing bottomless prosecco and cake experience. Both staff members who served us were lovely and super friendly attentive and helpful. Kept the bubbles flowing suitably throughout and all the cakes are delicious. Checked with us before starting we had no allergies etc. Cafe itself was very clean and toilets also nice. Bought online as a gift and had it delivered to a friend. Nice to have the option for delivery on a Saturday and from the pics sent to me (by the recipient), the cake looked perfect upon arrival. Sadly I didn’t get to taste it but pics of the cut cake looked good. Bit on the pricey side - with a bespoke message in icing and delivery, the total came to £49 - but considering I only found positive online reviews of this company, and that they deliver on Saturdays, I’d use them again. As feedback for this company, I’d suggest you include an option for card with delivery as I had no way of signing my name (so just had to tell my friend to expect a delivery on the specified date). Also suggest you confirm during checkout that receipts are email-only and won’t be included with delivery.

Vegan-Excellent! Amazing taste, super positive and efficient customer service. I called J&B a day before my friends birthday as it was recommended to me by a close friend for their vegan cakes. They were able to deliver my request in less than 24 hours which I really appreciated. The cake tasted absolutely amazing. We had the most wonderful time at Jack and Beyond with our dog Daisy. They were so accommodating and brought her a bowl of water as soon as we arrived. The human afternoon tea was absolutely delicious and Daisy thoroughly enjoyed her pupcake and blueberry woofin 🧁 We save a few of the treats for our dog at home and he loved them too 👌🏼 They have some really unique lattes, one being Apple and Lavendar, which I tried and it was so tasty! Adam who served us was so lovely and chatty. Would definitely go again!

Many places have beautiful cakes. But they often taste of sugary cardboard. Jack's cakes are beautiful and also really delicious, with intense flavours. I have sent their brownies all over the UK to rave reviews. Their macaroon range is also wickedly tempting. Jack's offers a treat in a naughty world.

The cake and biscuit were for a birthday present. I paid extra to have it delivered on the birthday which did not happen. I was told the lemon drizzle cake was fantastic apart from having too much sugar on top and the biscuit was not as good as full shortbread and a bit disappointing

So I went on the hunt for the best cheese cake looking for something local (no large chains as we want to support local business through the COVID lockdown). I came across Jack and Beyond through Google and then looked up the testimonials (Google, FB etc) and seems like they were it. The cake was delivered on time by a friendly staff member and what a delicious cake. I would recommend Jack and Beyond to anyone. Quality, taste and great service. Will definitely buy again! It is always a gamble buying free from gluten cakes, but this paid off. The cake was light and moist, with a good chocolate flavour. A generous but not over rich filling made this a worthy celebration cake. You would not know that this is gluten free, which is the best compliment I can think of.

Had a really nice experience. Sofia was so welcoming and attentive. The Prosecco brunch was really nice. The empanada fillings were tasty (pumpkin and goat cheese was my personal favorite) but the pastry was not super authentic. Which was fine! Still very tasty. My boyfriend (who is a coeliac) absolutely loved this cake as did his family (who are not on gluten free diets). They saw no difference between wheat based cake and this one. They said the standard was extremely good. I am especially pleased since he doesn’t usually eat cake on the basis the gluten free options aren’t great. Great cozy place for coffee and cakes. Can seat several people and staff is very kind. You can see the baker baking cakes while drinking your coffee. Coffee and cake about 6:50 if you eat in. They also have takeaway cakes, macaroons, truffles and more

UPDATED 19/8 - 4 STARS (original review below this update) The response by J&B has been exceptional following my first review and I can see that it is not acceptable for them that I received a damaged item and that they would not have knowingly allowed this to happen. We resolved this issue and I have since had a 7inch lemon cake and it was wonderful in taste and presentation. Thank you J&B, will be back next time. ORIGINAL REVIEW - 3 stars Ordered a birthday cake for our daughter's 10th. Cake itself tastes great (ours was the carrot based cake). Berries on top didn’t look very fresh, dried and shrivelled, so we didn’t bother eating that and one of the macaroons on the top was smashed, the box arrived sealed and the rest of cake/box in good condition with no sign of damage so can only assume it was boxed in this condition. Written icing was not great and squeezed where they hadn’t left enough space for '10th' and the sparkling candles were damp squibs and never got sparkling (not the candle in the photo, that was a normal one we had, you will see holes in the top of cake where we removed the non-sparkly sparklers). So the photos and videos aren’t great for the memories. First time we have used J and B, I would probably use again but my wife won’t.

Ordered Birthday cakes here twice. My daughter was born on the 25th December - and Jack and Beyond was the only place we could get a freshly baked caked on Christmas. And it was absolutely awesome. I stumbled upon this hidden gem where I tried the red velvet cake and the brownies at their Portobello branch. Take it from me, this is one of if not the best and they were divine. TL:DR - Phenomenal cake in taste and presentation. 100% would recommend and will order from them again. I ordered a cake for my flatmates birthday, I had quite high expectations due to the website being so appealing. I was contacted by a member of staff about delivery and whether or not they could deliver slightly ahead of schedule as they had other deliveries in the area which worked perfectly in my favour. The cake arrived looking exactly how it looked online, it tasted amazing and I genuinely couldn't fault them or the cake. Sidenote: the reusable branded coffee cup was a lovely little touch.

I absolutely loved my birthday at Jack and Beyond. We were a party of 6 and had the bottomless brunch deal. Bottomless was definitely bottomless and the prosecco was beautiful. The food was very very tasty and we were allowed to add extras to the plate without any extra charge. Customer service was the best and we just had a lovely time. Most of us came away with extra brownies/cookies to take home! I would definitely recommend this place!

Jack and beyond Chocolate mince pie Will these lovely mince pies were actually gift from my friend, I received them in the post couldn’t couldn’t quite believe the weight of the box! Inside wrapped beautifully were some mince pies 😍 I unopened the first one to find a little chocolate button on top ?! *gasp A homemade , cute yet heavy mince pie - with a twist ! Beneath the layer of mincemeat was some soft gooey chocolate 😮 Now I’m not one to usually go for and non-traditional mince pie, but my friend wanted me to review these and well 🤷🏻‍♀️ Who doesn’t want a mince pie!  The first bite held amazingly , i crunched the pastry , very buttery a little salty just the right type of pastry required to accompany a sweet mix, it revealed the extremely deep filled fresh crisp fruit filling , it was A mix between crispy crunchy fruit pieces and of traditional style flavoured mince but then the hit of chocolate got you from the bottom. Not a milk chocolate but a luxury gooey ganache centre . Overall it is an absolute Christmas sensation, A very decadent luxury style pie. It does taste of mince pie but it also taste of chocolate. I did like the entire thing but I’m not quite sure where I stand with it all I’m still confused about the whole situation 😂 It certainly wasn’t your usual mince pie and the other people in the office who tried one either A, wasn’t too keen (traditionalist ) or was B, absolutely blown away 🌲🙃 I personally really liked it and grateful to Cuff for the wonderful gift . see Kims mince pie reviews for more.

The cake that I order (red velvet ) is nice, size is quite tiny for 5 inches the height is the regular size I thought they would add perhaps one more layer for special ocassion purposes only. Socially distant bottomless brunch - was a bit hesitant to venture out for a bottomless brunch but the endless cake won us over. Our waiter, Adam, prepared us a table at the front "away from the fridge because it can get a bit noisey". I arrived and Adam had our table ready, and asked if it was our first time out since lockdown. He made a decent effort to make sure we felt safe in the cafe. When another family entered, Adam sat them at most further possible seats of the cafe, to maximise distance. The cakes were amazing (that was a given) but for the first restaurant/cafe experience since the lifting of restrictions, Adam worked so hard to make us feel comfortable in our surroundings.

AMAZING place!!! So happy that I stumbled upon this beautiful cafe on instagram! Well worth travelling into London for. Me and a friend visited on 12th March for botomless cake and prosecco and we had such a lovely time. The atmosphere was cosy, modern and relaxing. Based in Parsons Green a few minute walk from the station! It's not often you get 5 star flawless service now, but the girls working there were perfect. Super polite, friendly and attentive! The cake was delicious- all of them!! Paired with a few glasses of bubbles, what a perfect way to spend your Saturday. I will be back :-)
