The coffee is good. The cardamom bun was a highlight- it smells soo delicious, and has great texture.
E. M.What a beautiful little shop they have! These we’re some of the best pastries I’ve ever eaten. The dough was fresh and the cream was so light, really melted in my mouth. A true gem.

I have to remove a star because every time I go I experience not the friendliest customer service. The food is obviously great but I’ve been multiple times now and just didn’t feel welcomed.

Welcome to the neighborhood, Jolene.
Dear Jolene, thanks for providing the neighborhood of Shoreditch with great quality bread! As a German bread is super important and since I’ve moved to London, it’s been a struggle to find a place in my area with fresh baked bread daily. Walking past Jolene if you weeks ago this box is now ticked ✅
Oh and PLEASE keep being creative with your Sandwiches. You are the first place in the area which has fresh and exciting sandwiches 🥰
S. M.Jolene is among the best local bakeries and hands down my favourite. I’ve tried nearly all they have to offer and you truly can’t go wrong. Buns, pastries, sandwiches, bread—it’s all fantastic. Their coffee is consistently good and everyone is always friendly. Since they’ve opened, I’ve found it hard to go anywhere else. Just make sure to get there before they run out ;)
N.Lovely little bakery on Redchurch Street - Jolene has just opened a little outpost here serving its takeaway items (pastries, breads, sandwiches, and of course, coffees!). Love the simple set up, a really awesome addition to the neighborhood.
J. L.I live all the way in West London and happened to be cat sitting a friend's cat for the week so I thought I should stop by for coffee and a pastry. My friend's cat woke me up at 6:15 am so it's safe to say I was in urgent need of coffee. The staff at Jolene Redchurch Street were so friendly and in such a good mood it lifted me up instantly.
They make superb coffee and their pastries are unparalleled, I mistakenly picked up a ham and cheese pastry but so glad I did, it was just what I needed.
Can't wait to be back!

F. O.Don't be scared by queues, they move fast. Coffee is excellent and espresso is strong and flavoursome. Self-service for pastries: at 11am typically available 3 types of sandwiches, sausage roll, 1 cake, 4-5 sweets from croissants to pain-au-chocolat. Average prices but in line with superior quality
