Recommended by a friend, was on my way to Al Jabal Bakery, but they closed early, so turned around and went up the road to Kamil Bakery and we were not disappointed. The brothers behind the counter were welcoming and friendly. My nephew and I ordered two meat and one cheese/zaatar manakeesh, which were made fresh and served with a bowl of pickles, tomotes, olives, etc. Also offered a small pot of green chillies, which was not too hot, but added a nice zing to the manakeeshs. Moments after we arrived it got very busy with families, which is always a good sign. A simple place that has seating, which Al Jabal doesn't unfortunately. Will definitely be going back the next time time I am on the Westside In'shaa'Allah. We ordered another four manakeeshs for takeaway and in total we paid £19.50 for 7 manakeeshs and two drinks. Definitely excellent value for money.

Lebanese bakery, amazing place, a real gem in an industrial estate of all places. Never had food so fresh, like a production factory. Bake right infront of you. They churn out the bread fresh on a machine and it goes straight into a huge oven. Told the guy give me what he likes, I got a flat bread, which was crispy, doughy and delicious filled with meat, potatoe and cheese. It was super hot, tasty and well seasoned nicely. It was like lachmucun but 10x times better. Will alway come here hungry or not 😋. Unbelievable taste, quality & service. My only regret was not getting another. Good assortment of drinks and also take card. Only downside is there was no chilli, garlic or chutney to go with the wrap or would've been 11/10.

I have been going to this joint for the past 10-15 years. For those who know, it’s has the same nostalgic layout. The workers are always friendly. The meat and cheese is the best around. Till this day no one has matched them. The price has slightly gone up over the past years. However still worth the money.

Really warm inside but the food is pretty good. They have lots of variations for middle eastern folded pizzas and are affordable. Vegetarian friendly. Parking can be a bit of an issue as its a one way industrial road.

Food is amazing, but people that work there need to learn basic communication. Family business, usually the mother is on the till taking orders. Cant say any bad about her. But the rest of them just do not seem to be interested in anything at all. Wouldn't recommend going in there if your short for time.

I went to visit a cafe, found it was empty and they wanted £2.50 for coffee. I then found Kamil Bakery. "How much is coffee ? " I asked. "It's free for customers." Was the reply. I helped myself to cup, coffee, hot water from kettle and milk. Then food, the selection is as per the photos here, pizza manakeesh , £2.25 for cheese, others available such as spinach, meat etc. They also do sandwiches, falafel, curry, shawarma all for reasonable prices. My pizza was nice. There are three tables inside, enough for about 12 people. You sit comforted by the warmth from the oven flames. The atmosphere is friendly, families come and eat, late afternoon Saturday , and when I was ready to leave "Would you like another coffee to take on your way? We have covers for the coffee." Excellent hospitality. £2.25 for pizza and two coffees. I went back again today 13th Feb 2021, only takeaway and prices have gone up 25p per item. Lamb shawarma pizza 4.50, manakeesh still around £2.50 depending what type. Chicken curry £4.50, falafel £2.75 , chips £2.25 . I had tasty pizza. Service good, food cooks in front of you, staff are friendly. I saw a toilet there too.

If you can find a parking space along Standard Road, treat yourself to Lebanese style thin 'pizzas'. Zataar, Kishek, (lamb if you must), cooked to order, maybe with a couple of shreds of chilli pepper. Add a side salad or some mixed pickles. Wash them down with a carton of ayran. Even help yourself to an instant coffee. Indoors during the Winter, but enjoy the recently redecorated verandah the rest of the year.
