Fantastic cakes , always top quality, we’ve been buying for years but never had a chance to review , for an independent business like this , we must make time to offer our humble opinion . Even though we moved rather far from the place , we always come back for cakes and treats. We’ve tried everything in their store and never been disappointed. Well done to the hard working staff and owners and we shall visit you again very soon, truly recommend all cakes for all occasions! Thank you. My photo doesn’t do justice to the lovely cakes , as we’ve finished most of them already .

Such a lovely bakery that has a good heart and offers Western Cakes and North African sweets. All well made. They also have light all days brunches such as eggs, pancakes, soups, pizzas and tagines. Above all the service is excellent, professional and friendly.

Excellent cakes and pastries. This is a good place for desserts. Also try their Moroccan "pancakes", similar to the Turkish "gozleme". Open till late, friendly service.

Absolutely love this bakery, they are the best! Went very late in the evening and they were open! Bought so many cakes and sweet treats, it's my favourite by far.

Refreshing Moroccan green mint tea with sweets and friendly staff. It’s only few mins walk from my place and from shepherd’s bush station so I do go here frequently. Some really great local cakes, North African sweets, Tagine and other side dishes for amazing price is value for money.

Ordered a cake a week ago and went to collect today at the time we agreed. When I came the cake wasn’t ready which I was ok with and sat and waited 20min. I was really looking forward to a lovely piece of cake as it was my birthday. There was no taste. The sponge was like filled with water. There was hardly any jam between the layer and wasn’t sweet at all. Very disappointed this time. Was planning a chocolate cake for my sons birthday but changed my mind now.

Wow, best cafe ever, great sandwiches and the best cakes. The pancake bread with spinach and filled with tuna and pressed on the panini maker is my favourite but you can choose any filling, they offer Moroccan meals and soups too. Wow is the best way to describe it.

Amazing selection of cakes but I come for the soups and bread. They always have four and they're always delicious and served with freshly baked Moroccan round breads. Staff are always welcoming. The cafe recently had a refurb and looks brighter and shinier.

This bakery does the best fresh cream cakes. Not too sickly sweet and the sponge is so light and delicious. I've been ordering my cakes from this bakery for year. Their savoury snacks are also delicious. Reasonable priced also.

I've always walked past this cafe and never went inside. So today I did, I was so surprised. Amazing and such a massive variety of cakes, pastry, morrocan sweets and lunch options. Everything is fresh, very quick service, amazing coffee and the best bit is that it's so cheap. They have Wi-Fi, and it's in a good location Such a little gem, the guy who served me was very nice, and I left a tip because I appreciate good customer service. Amazing spot, have already recommended to friends and I'll be going back again very soon.

We made a quick pit stop here on the way to the nearby bus stop, attracted by the palmiers on display — which actually tasted even more amazing than already looked, properly baked and crunchy (being often served chewy or doughy in too many places), while not being too sugary. The mille feuille was rather lovely, too. Both tasted to other times, uncomplicated times, to one’s childhood, and being unpretentious is such a quality to esteem nowadays. We had ordered mocha but instead handed Moroccan tea — a mistake promptly corrected with apologies and a smile! Coffee was very strong and tasting to roasted, which I love — love so much, even just the smell of it, that I actually burnt my tongue with the first sip. If it weren’t so far from where I’m staying in London, would love to try more things!

I've been going to Maison Souss for almost a decade and love the place so much it's even immortalised in Gunshot Glitter. The food is a blend of European and Middle Eastern and amazing value for money. The selection of cakes on display are colourful and freshly made each day. I would recommend the tomato and onion pancake and soups. I'd weep if they stopped making the pancakes. They make a great mini meal by themselves. Drinkswise you need to try the mint tea. It's frequented by a melting pot of customers and the staff are really friendly. I love the place. It's near the 94/148 bus stop and open until midnight so great if you're on your way home from a night out and desperate for a snack.

Great morocian soups such as lentile, harira and broud beans and very nice morocian tea. Staff are nice friendly. Customers are usually load and noisey I gues its the culture of Algerians and Morocians the way they comunicate they have to shout at each other.
