F. F.I've just discovered here today while I was looking for a birthday cake for my daughter. There are plenty of cakes, candies and pastries inside. I've bought 4 different cakes and some biscuits and all was delicious, really really good and fresh, congratulations and thank you keeping such a good place alive.

The vibes, the interior, the people are so charming. The lady who took my order was so sweet and so was the gentleman who made my decaf latte. The pastries all looked decadent. I tried only their croissants and baked donut. The price was surprisingly affordable, when compared to the other cafe options around the area. Will definitely come back, God-Willing, to dine in and have a proper cup of coffee and pastry instead of takeaway. Grazie, A presto!
R. C.Very renowned spot when talking about top patisseries. No matter if you’re visiting alone, a couple or small groups - it’s so charming spot and very well attended. The price is a bit salty but I would say that is not a problem when taking in consideration the very high quality, beautiful interior architecture and the thousands of delicious sweets and snacks. I don’t know if they have reservations, but it’s not so hard to tale a table as it’s not a spot to staying for too long. So, just go, have a seat or take away one of their delicious.

Had a few pastries, that if compared to Paris are quite average.
Espresso priced at 6 pounds is to me just unjustified in anyway, even if it tastes good.
Locations is Greta and the vibe is amazing, so you definitely pay for the location, but unfortunately not much more than this.

K. L.A charming Italian cafe. I visited after being given a referral from a local shopkeeper who spoke well of the cakes and desserts. I'm grateful for his guidance as this was a very lovely visit. I had a croissant, cappuccino and one of their most popular dishes, a yellow vanilla sponge cake...don't quote me on the name! But its was quite delicious. Service was prompt and courteous, at the time on a rainy Saturday afternoon it was not too busy so I was able to get a table seat and relax.
That being said despite Google saying they are closed on Saturday, that's not the case. They are open from 9 to 1700 I believe. Ciao.

S.I would give it a 5 if it wasn’t for one of the staff members which I can’t recall his name but he was speaking english with a french accent, I have no idea what is wrong with him but it was very clear to me that he had a problem with arabs. Not once but almost every time I go there he seems to treat me or any other Arab/Asian disrespect. He cant even hide his racism which is very unprofessional of him , its so sad to see people still being racists specially in restaurants and cafes where we go to socialize and get along with each other not the other way around.

N.Visit : mid-morning lockdown coffee. Naturally only take away but one of the spots we liked from Milano and always worth popping here for sweets, snacks, cakes and coffee. Extremely polite service and great for a weekday coffee and breakfast bite if sunny .... weekends can be queuing with locals so pick your time.

J. M.Italian bakery and coffee place with tasty treats and coffee, but at a cost. My first time here, I bought a fruit croissant and a small pistachio muffin (to go) and the total was £7. Take out prices are lower than stay in (seated) prices. I now go to this place whenever I want a great cappuccino. When you take food/coffee to go, you also have the option of taking it inside standing at the bar, Italian style. I have to say that the cappuccino here is expensive (£3.50) but it may be the best cappuccino I have had in London in terms of its Italian authenticity. Don't expect large cup size options here as they reflect the standard cup sizes. I dock a star just for the price.

The gentleman at the front behind the counter was lovely, however my actual server did not check on me once during my meal, and I had to remind her for my water as well as waiting a long time to get my bill (which was after flagging her down to ask for it) which is why there is one less star! Superb otherwise!

I was in central London for a day of shopping with a friend of mine, and wanting to eat something sweet and enjoy a good coffee, we chose Marchesi as usual. It is certainly the best place to enjoy Italian pastry in London. It is a very elegant place, excellently clean and above all I appreciated the friendliness and professionalism of the staff. I would like to especially thank Mr. Carlo for his welcome and willingness to listen to our requests and patience in answering all our questions.
As for the value for money, it is absolutely related to the quality of the dishes served and the high level of staff preparation. I'll definitely be back soon! Thank you!

Sono stata nel centro di Londra per una giornata di Shopping con una mia amica, e volendo mangiare qualcosa di dolce e gustare un buon caffe’ abbiamo scelto come al solito Marchesi. Sicuramente e’ il posto migliore per poter gustare la pasticceria Italiana a Londra. E’ un luogo molto elegante, eccellentemente pulito e soprattutto ho apprezzato la cordialita’ e la professionalita’ del personale. Vorrei ringraziare specialmente il Signor Carlo per la sua accoglienza e la disponibilita’ nell’ascoltare le nostre richieste e la pazienza nel rispondere a tutte le nostre domande.
Per quanto riguarda il rapporto qualita’ prezzo, e’ assolutamente rapportato alla qualita’ dei piatti serviti e alla alta preparazione del personale. Tornero’ sicuramente presto! Grazie!
